📋 Description

• • Own the end-to-end technical design of Sapio’s unified lab-informatics platform for global life-science customers, translating complex laboratory workflows into scalable, configurable solutions that accelerate drug discovery and diagnostics.
• • Become the go-to authority on Sapio’s LIMS, ELN and SDMS modules, continuously mastering new releases and translating platform capabilities into clear solution blueprints that delight scientists and IT stakeholders alike.
• • Partner with Scientific Business Analysts and Application Engineers in agile squads to elicit, document and prioritise customer requirements; turn user stories into technical architectures that balance scientific rigour, regulatory compliance and deployment velocity.
• • Lead iterative configuration and deployment sprints, ensuring every release meets scope, budget and quality targets while advising customers on best-practice data models, workflow design and integration patterns that future-proof their laboratories.
• • Provide accurate task-level estimates in JIRA, maintain granular capacity plans and proactively flag risks, enabling Project Managers to balance workloads across multiple concurrent implementations without compromising delivery excellence.
• • Act as a technical mentor to Application Engineers, delegating configuration tasks, reviewing code and solution artefacts, and fostering a culture of continuous learning that raises the bar for every customer engagement.
• • Deliver crisp, audience-tailored communication—ranging from C-level vision decks to deep-dive technical workshops—ensuring alignment between scientific end-users, IT leadership and Sapio’s product roadmap.
• • Own post-go-live optimisation: triage and resolve third-tier support tickets, channel customer feedback into actionable product enhancements, and champion Sapio’s agile deployment methodology to maximise customer ROI.
• • Contribute to pre-sales cycles by crafting solution architectures, high-level estimates and proof-of-concept designs that demonstrate the art-of-the-possible and de-risk large enterprise deals.
• • Maintain meticulous documentation—solution design specs, configuration guides, lessons-learned playbooks—so that knowledge is institutionalised and every subsequent project starts from a higher baseline.
• • Uphold The Sapio Seven values (EMBRACE) in every interaction, modelling transparency, empathy and quality so that colleagues and customers feel genuinely partnered with, not simply serviced.
• • Travel up to 30 % to customer sites across EMEA and beyond, running discovery workshops, training sessions and go-live celebrations that turn software roll-outs into memorable scientific milestones.
