📋 Description

• Vanta is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team in Sydney, Australia. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in securing technical wins and crafting comprehensive solutions blueprints for our largest and most strategic global Enterprise prospects. Your expertise will ensure that our Enterprise clients can achieve seamless and successful implementations by meticulously validating their technical fit, proactively identifying potential technical risks, and strategically capitalizing on opportunities for custom technical solutions. You will be the driving force behind providing exceptional technical guidance and unwavering support, ultimately unblocking deals and significantly contributing to revenue growth.
• As a Solutions Architect, your day-to-day responsibilities will be multifaceted and critical to the success of our Enterprise engagements. You will lead the technical implementation for our most significant Enterprise customers, meticulously ensuring the successful deployment and integration of Vanta’s cutting-edge Trust Management Platform. A core part of your role will involve deep collaboration with customers to thoroughly understand their unique security and compliance requirements, translating these needs into expertly designed, tailored solutions that precisely meet their objectives. You will actively participate in crucial customer pre- and post-sales scoping calls, engaging in ongoing, recurring collaboration that spans kick-off calls, executive business reviews, in-depth audit readiness conversations, and vital partner meetings. Furthermore, you will provide unparalleled expert guidance on Vanta’s platform capabilities, championing best practices and advising on optimal integration strategies to maximize customer value.
• You will work in close partnership with our Product and Engineering teams, acting as a vital conduit for customer feedback and influencing the direction of product enhancements to better serve our client base. To empower our customers, you will conduct comprehensive training sessions and engaging workshops, ensuring they are fully equipped and confident in utilizing Vanta’s platform effectively. As the primary technical point of contact for these strategic Enterprise customers, you will focus on building robust, long-term relationships and ensuring their sustained satisfaction and success with Vanta.

• In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to deepen your expertise in security and compliance solutions within a rapidly growing SaaS company. You will gain invaluable experience in managing complex technical sales cycles, leading Proof of Concepts (POCs), and driving technical validation for large enterprise deals. You will have a direct impact on product development by providing crucial customer insights to the Product and Engineering teams. Success in this role means becoming a trusted technical advisor to Vanta’s most important clients and playing a key role in shaping the future of trust management technology.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of technical experience, with at least 3+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales role such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or similar, preferably within the security or compliance industry supporting large Enterprise customers.
• Solid understanding of the application development lifecycle and RESTful API design concepts, with considerable experience in scripting against APIs or building API-based integrations.
• Strong technical background, with proficiency in security protocols, cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), and software integration.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex technical sales cycles, running Proof of Concepts (POCs), and driving technical validation.
