📋 Description

• Serve as the dedicated technical advisor for strategic customers, guiding them through the design, implementation, and production deployment of video AI applications using TwelveLabs’ multimodal foundation models and APIs.
• Collaborate directly with enterprise and startup technical stakeholders to scope use cases, architect solutions, and ensure seamless integration of TwelveLabs’ video understanding technology into their workflows.
• Own end-to-end technical relationships with key accounts, proactively resolving complex integration challenges, driving adoption across organizations, and ensuring maximum value realization from the platform.
• Provide expert guidance on best practices for building secure, scalable, and high-performance video understanding applications using TwelveLabs’ REST APIs, with emphasis on optimal video workflow design and multimodal AI utilization.
• Act as the primary point of contact for design, security, compliance, and architectural questions, escalating nuanced or high-priority requirements to internal engineering and product teams as needed.
• Create, maintain, and update technical documentation including implementation guides, FAQs, code samples, and troubleshooting resources to support customer success and reduce onboarding friction.
• Gather and synthesize customer feedback from technical implementations to inform product roadmaps, prioritize feature development, and ensure platform evolution aligns with real-world enterprise and developer needs.
• Partner closely with Sales, Product, Partnerships, and Engineering teams to align customer outcomes with company objectives, translating technical requirements into actionable product insights.
• Lead technical workshops, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept initiatives that showcase the transformative capabilities of TwelveLabs’ video AI to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Navigate a fast-paced, evolving environment with rapidly changing priorities, managing multiple concurrent customer implementations while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
• Operate with high autonomy in an unstructured startup environment, taking initiative to identify gaps, propose solutions, and build tools or processes that enhance customer success and internal efficiency.
• Represent the voice of the customer internally, advocating for improvements in API usability, documentation, performance, and feature coverage based on firsthand implementation experiences.
• Foster trusted, long-term relationships with technical decision-makers by delivering consistent expertise, responsiveness, and a collaborative mindset that empowers customers to innovate with video AI.
• Maintain deep familiarity with video processing workflows, multimodal AI systems, and modern application development frameworks to provide accurate, context-aware technical guidance.
• Stay current on advancements in LLMs, video-language models, and AI infrastructure to effectively advise customers on emerging opportunities and limitations in the video AI landscape.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role such as Solutions Architect, Technical Account Manager, or Implementation Engineer.
• Strong understanding of and hands-on experience with LLMs, multimodal AI, REST APIs, Python, JavaScript, and modern application development.
• Proven track record of driving customer implementations from kickoff through production launch and building trusted technical relationships with enterprise and startup clients.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts for business stakeholders and debug integration issues with engineering teams.
• Experience working with video workflows and video workloads, including understanding of video encoding, transcoding, metadata extraction, and real-time processing.
• Exceptional communication skills, high autonomy, and ability to thrive in a rapidly changing, unstructured startup environment with evolving priorities.
