📋 Description

• As a Senior Solutions Architect for the APAC region at Twelve Labs, you will serve as the critical technical bridge between the company’s cutting-edge multimodal video foundation models and real-world enterprise applications, enabling customers across Asia-Pacific to unlock transformative value from video AI technology.
• Your role is pivotal in driving adoption and success of Twelve Labs’ platform by translating complex business goals into scalable, secure, and high-performing video AI architectures that address real customer pain points and accelerate time-to-value.
• You will partner directly with enterprise customers to deeply understand their strategic objectives, technical constraints, and data environments, then design tailored solutions that integrate Twelve Labs’ APIs into existing workflows, whether in cloud-native, hybrid, or on-premise settings.
• You will own the full technical lifecycle of customer engagements — from initial discovery and proof-of-concept (POC) development through production deployment, optimization, and post-launch support — ensuring seamless integration and measurable business outcomes.
• You will architect and deliver compelling POCs and reference architectures that demonstrate the unique capabilities of Twelve Labs’ multimodal foundation models, such as video search, summarization, classification, and generation, to showcase tangible ROI and technical superiority.
• You will provide expert guidance on API integration patterns, performance tuning, scalability considerations, and security best practices across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments, acting as the trusted technical advisor for architecture, compliance, and operational excellence.
• You will collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to gather and synthesize customer feedback, influence product roadmap priorities, and ensure that field insights directly shape the evolution of Twelve Labs’ platform.
• You will lead technical enablement initiatives across the APAC region, delivering workshops, demos, and training sessions to developers, data scientists, and enterprise architects to build internal expertise and accelerate customer self-service adoption.
• You will thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth AI startup environment where ambiguity is common, managing multiple strategic customer engagements simultaneously while maintaining rigorous technical standards and a customer-obsessed mindset.
• You will be based in Seoul with the flexibility of hybrid work, contributing to a globally distributed team that values cultural diversity, intellectual curiosity, and bold innovation in pushing the boundaries of video understanding AI.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in a technical customer-facing role such as Solutions Architect, Solutions Engineer, or Technical Consultant, preferably with enterprise SaaS or AI/ML product exposure.
• Proven expertise designing and deploying scalable enterprise solutions in major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including infrastructure-as-code, containerization, and API-driven architectures.
• Hands-on proficiency with Python, RESTful APIs, and modern application architectures (microservices, event-driven, serverless), with experience integrating AI/ML models into production systems.
• Familiarity with LLMs, multimodal AI systems, vector embeddings, or video-centric workloads; experience with video workflows, media asset management (MAM), content pipelines, or video analytics is a strong advantage.
• Demonstrated success leading end-to-end customer implementations from initial kickoff through production launch, building trusted relationships with both technical teams (engineers, data scientists) and executive stakeholders (CTOs, VPs, CIOs).
• Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities, with the skill to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value propositions for diverse audiences.
• Comfort and willingness to travel frequently across the APAC region (including Japan, Singapore, India, Australia, and Southeast Asia) for client meetings, workshops, and industry events.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments, manage competing priorities, and adapt quickly to evolving customer needs and product developments.
