- • As a Solutions Engineer at Valsoft Corporation, you will serve as the technical backbone of the customer success operation, partnering with Onboarding Managers to ensure smooth client implementations of Ad Orbit and Astro AI platforms. Your technical execution directly determines whether clients go live successfully, understand the platform, and deploy solutions effectively—making this a high-impact, hands-on role where ownership and initiative are paramount.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include leading data import workflows for CRM, OMS, and Billing platform migrations—handling field mapping, data cleansing, import validation, and exception resolution; translating complex financial workflows (chart of accounts, revenue recognition, period close) into Ad Orbit configurations aligned with GAAP standards; supporting customer use of the Ad Orbit data warehouse by helping them understand data structure and answering data-related questions, with MySQL familiarity as a plus; troubleshooting API integrations by reading documentation, testing endpoints, and diagnosing failures across client-connected systems; building implementation documentation, field mapping specs, and client-facing technical guides; and identifying recurring implementation patterns to contribute to process improvements and internal tooling.
- • You will spend 60–70% of your time client-facing, assisting with in-progress implementations, data migrations, integration setup, templates, and configurations, while dedicating 30–40% to internal tooling and documentation, including playing a central role in overhauling the support infrastructure over the next 2–3 months through automation and tool development.
- • The role is based at Valsoft Corporation, a company that builds purpose-built software for niche industries—Ad Orbit, developed by Aysling, is a contract-to-cash platform designed specifically for media publishers to automate commercial workflows like billing, revenue recognition, and deal management, enabling independent and mid-market media companies to focus on core operations and build sustainable revenue models.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in financial systems implementation, data migration at scale, API troubleshooting, and technical documentation, while gaining exposure to AI-augmented workflows and internal tooling development—positioning you for advancement into leadership roles such as Director of Client Engagement, where you would oversee implementation, support, training, product development, and onboarding strategy.
🎯 Requirements
- • Hands-on experience implementing or configuring ERP, CRM, OMS, or financial management software
- • Working knowledge of GAAP accounting principles including chart of accounts, AR/AP, revenue recognition, and period-end close
- • Experience leading data migrations—defining field mappings, validating imports, and handling exceptions at scale
- • Familiarity with REST APIs—reading documentation, testing endpoints, and debugging integration issues
- • Ability to write or modify scripts (Python, Bash, or similar) for data transformation or automation tasks
- • Proficiency using AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, etc.) as a productivity multiplier, with concrete examples of applying AI to accelerate data mapping, generate scripts, draft documentation, or debug integrations
