- • As a Cloudera Solutions Engineer, you will help customers be successful in deploying the CDP platform by utilizing strong technical skills, business competencies, and customer service orientation to deliver technical value to sales teams, prospects, and customers, supporting sales goals.
- • You will create and deliver customer-centric solution designs, proposed architectures, and business outcomes to all levels—from developers and architects to CTOs and CIOs—while advising on use case patterns through discovery and requirements workshops.
- • You will work with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Services, Support, Training, and Engineering to share Cloudera’s Vision with customers and transform customer feedback into actionable product roadmap items.
- • You will participate in the Cloudera community through evangelism activities (blogs, meetups, industry events) and contribute to internal and external knowledge repositories, while working with teammates and management to define technical selling strategy.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of professional work experience in a similar position selling solutions to business leaders and technical champions in the enterprise.
- • Experience with the Apache Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, YARN) and related components (Spark, Hive, Impala, Kudu, Solr, etc.), including the ability to talk to the benefits of a centralized architecture for data management and data access.
- • Experience with public cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM Cloud, etc.) and an interest in achieving public cloud certification.
- • Experience with Linux OS and bare metal, VM, and distributed container platforms (Kubernetes or OpenShift), plus some experience with private cloud infrastructures (Server Hardware, Storage, Networking).
- • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a Technical Field.
