- • As a Solutions Engineer at Incident Technologies, Inc., you will serve as the technical bridge between the company's AI incident response platform and its customers, translating complex technical concepts into tangible business value to drive complex deals forward and ensure customer success from the first interaction.
- • Day to day, you will partner with the sales team to offer technical expertise, build customer trust by discovering business and technical challenges, design customized solutions using incident.io, build and maintain deep product knowledge, stay current with industry trends in incident management, DevOps, and SRE, identify gaps in the sales process to speed up cycles, develop collateral to scale knowledge across GTM, collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to gather customer feedback and shape the product roadmap, and as a founding member of the SE team, shape and develop the function by improving processes and creating sales enablement materials.
- • The Solutions Engineering team is a dynamic group of technical experts who work hand-in-hand with Account Executives to demonstrate the full potential of incident.io’s platform, guiding prospects through detailed product evaluations and crafting tailored solutions while providing critical market feedback to influence the product roadmap.
- • In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape and develop a newly forming Solutions Engineering function from the ground up, improve processes, create sales enablement materials, deepen your expertise in incident management and SaaS sales cycles, and directly influence product direction through customer feedback, all while working with high-profile clients like Netflix, Airbnb, and Block in a fast-growing, ambitious startup environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven track record in a similar role, with experience in a technical pre-sales or solutions engineering role, preferably in B2B SaaS
- • Strong technical aptitude with a natural curiosity to understand how things work and why - including our technology, but also incident management, and our customers and personas
- • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with experience explaining complex topics in a clear manner, and presenting technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
- • Demonstrated passion for continuous learning and professional development, with a track record of seeking out new challenges and embracing feedback to improve performance
- • Ingenious and proactive, you’re always looking for ways to stand out with customers, while in a fast-paced, ambiguous start-up environment where you need to operate with autonomy
