• • As a Solutions Engineer for Auth0 at Okta, you will be at the forefront of customer engagement, acting as a technical expert to guide clients through their identity management challenges and championing Okta's Auth0 platform. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong development background who are passionate about customer identity and eager to transition into a more customer-facing capacity.
• • You will be an integral part of a dedicated team of Solutions Engineers supporting the German region. Your primary responsibilities will involve delivering compelling product demonstrations, educating customers on the intricacies of the Auth0 platform, and advising a diverse audience—ranging from developers and product managers to C-level executives—on the most effective strategies for leveraging cloud security technology.
• • A key aspect of your role will be to conduct interactive presentations and solution demonstrations tailored to various organizational levels. This involves clearly articulating the value proposition of Auth0 and showcasing its capabilities in addressing complex identity needs.
• • You will engage in in-depth Q&A sessions with prospective customers to thoroughly understand their unique requirements, technical landscapes, and business objectives. This consultative approach ensures that Okta's solutions are precisely aligned with customer needs.
• • A significant part of your contribution will be to design and whiteboard technical solutions, illustrating how the Auth0 product seamlessly integrates with and enhances a customer's existing architecture and supports their specific use cases.
• • You will be responsible for executing well-defined, outcome-focused Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and Proofs of Value (PoVs). These engagements are critical for demonstrating the tangible benefits and technical feasibility of Auth0 in real-world scenarios.
• • Collaboration with Account Executives is essential. You will work in tandem to develop and implement strategic territory and account plans, aiming to maximize the Okta opportunity within designated accounts.
• • Maintaining a broad and deep technical understanding of the Auth0 product suite, including its underlying technologies, protocols, and best practices, is paramount. This includes staying abreast of new features, updates, and industry advancements.
• • Continuous learning is a core tenet of this role. You will be expected to stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes through self-study, research, and participation in online courses and training programs.
• • You will proactively engage in local and regional sales and marketing events, representing Okta and Auth0, building relationships, and generating interest in our identity solutions.
• • This role requires a strong understanding of web-based solutions, focusing on reliability, scalability, and high performance. You will apply this knowledge to design and implement robust identity solutions for customers.
• • A solid grasp of authentication and authorization protocols and frameworks, such as SAML, OIDC, and OAuth, is crucial for effectively communicating technical concepts and designing secure solutions.
• • Experience working with REST APIs and SDKs will be leveraged to demonstrate integration capabilities and assist customers in implementing Auth0 within their applications.
• • You will be comfortable working with cloud-based source control systems like GitHub and Bitbucket, reflecting modern development workflows.
• • Your development experience, encompassing both server-side and client-side application design, will provide a strong foundation for understanding customer architectures and proposing effective solutions.
• • You will be adept at communicating complex technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring understanding and buy-in at all levels.
