We are seeking a bright, dynamic, and highly motivated Solutions Engineer to join our pioneering EMEA team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping how retailers and brands adopt, integrate with, and ultimately maximize the value derived from our cutting-edge platform.
  • • This position offers a unique opportunity to blend deep technical expertise with sharp sales acumen. You will be responsible for crafting tailored solutions that address the specific needs of our clients, ensuring smooth and impactful product demonstrations, facilitating complex integrations, and fostering long-term client success within the fast-paced and ever-changing retail media ecosystem. As a Founding Solutions Engineer for our EMEA team, you will have significant influence and ample potential for professional growth and leadership.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve close collaboration with our Sales leaders, working hand-in-hand with prospects. This includes configuring sophisticated demo environments that accurately mirror the complexity of modern retail data infrastructures, developing bespoke solutions to meet unique client challenges, and contributing significantly to Vantage’s product roadmap. You will serve as a key technical expert and a vital customer advocate, translating client needs into actionable product insights and technical strategies.
  • • Key responsibilities will include:
  • • **Technical Solution Design & Demo Environment Configuration:** You will be tasked with configuring, maintaining, and enhancing demo environments that accurately simulate real-world retail scenarios. This involves setting up multi-channel campaign management capabilities, audience segmentation tools, and other critical functionalities to showcase the full potential of the Vantage platform.
  • • **Expert Software Demonstrations:** You will act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) during technical deep-dives with prospective clients. Your role will be to articulate precisely how the Vantage solution integrates with existing retail technology stacks, such as Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), Point of Sale (POS) systems, e-commerce platforms, and other critical data sources, demonstrating seamless interoperability.
  • • **In-depth Technical Discovery:** You will partner closely with the Sales team to conduct thorough technical discovery sessions. This involves identifying and understanding prospect pain points related to key industry challenges, including closed-loop attribution, brand safety concerns, and the critical need for margin transparency in advertising initiatives.
  • • **Strategic Solution Architecture:** You will design robust and scalable solution architectures that minimize the need for extensive custom development while maximizing the efficient flow of data. This includes orchestrating data movement between on-site search advertising, off-site programmatic advertising, and in-store digital touchpoints, ensuring a unified and effective advertising strategy.
  • • **RFP & Technical Documentation Leadership:** You will take the lead in crafting comprehensive technical responses for Requests for Proposals (RFPs). This requires providing clear, concise, and accurate information regarding data privacy compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and the capabilities of our clean room environments, assuring clients of our commitment to security and regulatory adherence.
  • • **Proof-of-Concept (POC) Development:** You will be responsible for building and delivering technical proofs-of-concept that demonstrate the value and functionality of the Vantage platform in specific client contexts, leveraging your technical skills to showcase tangible results.
  • • **Cross-functional Collaboration:** You will work closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to relay customer feedback, identify product enhancement opportunities, and ensure successful client onboarding and ongoing support.
  • • **Market Intelligence:** You will stay abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and competitive landscape within the retail media and AdTech industries, bringing valuable insights back to the Vantage team.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proficiency in Python and/or React, with a strong ability to work with APIs and SQL for data manipulation and proof-of-concept builds.
  • • Deep understanding of the Retail Media Network (RMN) ecosystem, including on-site vs. off-site advertising, sponsored products, and display advertising nuances.
  • • Solid grasp of AdTech and programmatic advertising concepts, including DSPs, SSPs, and the utilization of retail data for high-performance targeting.
  • • Familiarity with data measurement, attribution modeling (ROAS/iROAS), clean room environments (e.g., Snowflake, AWS), and identity resolution challenges in a cookieless world.
