- • As a Solutions Engineer at Lakera, you will be instrumental in driving sales velocity, enhancing customer success, and actively shaping the evolution of our groundbreaking AI Defense Plane. This pivotal customer-facing role positions you as the primary technical liaison throughout the entire sales cycle, from initial engagement to successful implementation, and serves as a critical resource for ongoing customer satisfaction and value realization.
- • Your core responsibility will be to deeply understand the unique challenges and technical requirements of our enterprise clients. You will translate these complex needs into elegant, effective solutions, architecting and demonstrating how Lakera's AI Defense Plane can be seamlessly integrated into their existing infrastructure to fortify their AI stacks and unlock transformative, cutting-edge use cases.
- • You will collaborate intimately with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Customer Success, Product Management, and Engineering. This close partnership ensures that Lakera not only meets but exceeds customer expectations, delivering on our mission to secure the future of AI.
- • A key aspect of your role will involve developing and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation, including detailed guides, best practices, and implementation blueprints. This will streamline both pre-sales technical evaluations and post-sales customer onboarding and support workflows, ensuring efficiency and clarity.
- • You will be hands-on in supporting product configuration and executing minor technical adjustments necessary for successful prospect and customer implementations, ensuring a smooth and tailored experience.
- • A vital feedback loop will be established through your direct interactions. You will meticulously gather and relay prospect and customer insights, challenges, and feature requests directly to our Product and Engineering teams. This invaluable input will be crucial in shaping the product roadmap, ensuring that Lakera's platform continuously evolves to meet the dynamic demands of the real-world AI landscape.
- • You will play a foundational role in establishing and scaling our Solutions Engineering function. This includes developing robust playbooks, defining repeatable best practices, and contributing to the overall operational excellence of the team, setting the stage for future growth.
- • You will be a trusted advisor to our clients, building strong relationships based on technical expertise, clear communication, and genuine empathy for their AI security challenges. Your ability to articulate complex technical concepts in an accessible manner will be paramount.

🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or a closely related technical pre-sales or post-sales role.
- • Proven track record of successfully managing technical relationships with large, complex organizations, ideally with experience selling or supporting deeply technical enterprise products.
- • Strong proficiency in coding, particularly within the Python and JavaScript ecosystems.
- • Demonstrated experience enabling large-scale implementations within at least one major hyperscaler cloud environment (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- • Experience navigating security, compliance, and IT processes and requirements inherent in implementing B2B products within large enterprise settings.
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to present technical information effectively to diverse audiences, from one-on-one meetings to large conference venues.
