  • • Availity is a leading healthcare technology company dedicated to transforming the healthcare landscape by simplifying revenue cycle management and business operations for healthcare professionals. As a pioneer in the industry, Availity operates the most extensive healthcare engagement platform, connecting over 2 million providers to health plans and processing more than 12 billion transactions annually. The company is driven by a mission to refocus on patient care by providing powerful tools, actionable insights, and a vast network that empowers medical businesses to thrive amidst constant industry change.
  • • The Solutions Engineer - Prior Auths role is a critical post-sales, execution-focused position within Availity's delivery services team. This role is instrumental in ensuring the successful implementation of signed customer contracts, acting as a vital technical liaison between Program Management, product development, and engineering teams. A significant and growing emphasis of this role is placed on FHIR-based integrations, which are directly tied to current revenue and regulatory-driven contracts, making it a high-priority position for the company's growth and compliance objectives.
  • • You will be at the forefront of supporting post-sales customer implementations, providing hands-on technical guidance throughout the entire delivery lifecycle. Your primary focus will be on the intricate workflows of healthcare prior authorization processes, ensuring seamless integration and functionality for our clients.
  • • This role involves conducting client-facing meetings and delivering compelling product demonstrations to a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. Your ability to clearly articulate product features and translate complex payer requirements into scalable, effective solutions will be key to client satisfaction and project success.
  • • A significant aspect of your contribution will be to help scale Availity's delivery operations. This includes actively participating in packaging and standardizing implementation approaches, enabling the company to deliver contracts more efficiently and at a higher volume. Your insights will directly impact the company's ability to grow and serve its expanding client base.
  • • You will serve as a crucial bridge between the delivery teams, product management, and engineering departments. Your responsibility will be to translate intricate customer requirements into delivery-ready, scalable solutions that meet both technical specifications and business needs.
  • • You will provide practical, hands-on expertise in FHIR APIs, supporting the increasing volume of FHIR-based contracts. These integrations represent a top priority for the team in terms of delivery excellence and revenue generation, making your technical proficiency in this area indispensable.
  • • Collaboration is key in this role. You will work closely with Product Management to address custom requests, identify opportunities for process improvements, and contribute to the continuous enhancement of Availity's offerings.
  • • You will be responsible for managing multiple concurrent projects across various payer clients, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and to the highest standard of quality. This requires strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • • The role offers a unique opportunity to sit at the center of high-impact, real-world healthcare delivery. The work you do will be both meaningful, directly contributing to improved patient care and operational efficiency in healthcare, and highly visible within the organization and across the industry.
  • • You will be part of a collaborative and growth-focused team that champions continuous learning and professional development. Availity fosters an environment where innovation is encouraged, and every team member's contribution is valued and celebrated. This is an opportunity to make a significant mark on the future of healthcare technology.
