- • As a Solutions Engineer at Lakera, you will be instrumental in driving sales velocity, ensuring customer success, and directly influencing the evolution of our cutting-edge AI Defense Plane. This is a pivotal customer-facing role where you will serve as the primary technical liaison throughout the entire sales cycle, from initial engagement to successful implementation and ongoing customer satisfaction. Your expertise will be crucial in translating complex customer requirements into elegant, effective solutions, architecting how enterprises can leverage Lakera's platform to secure their AI stacks and unlock transformative use cases.
- • You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Customer Success, Product Management, and Engineering. This collaborative environment ensures that Lakera not only meets but anticipates the needs of the market, solidifying our mission to ensure AI does what we want it to do, securely and ethically.
- • Your responsibilities will encompass a broad range of technical and strategic activities. You will act as the primary technical point of contact for prospective clients, deeply understanding their unique challenges and existing infrastructure. Based on this understanding, you will design and present tailored solutions that seamlessly integrate with their environments using Lakera's comprehensive AI Defense Plane.
- • A key aspect of your role will be partnering with the Customer Success team to facilitate rapid customer onboarding and ensure they achieve maximum value from the Lakera platform. This involves providing technical guidance, troubleshooting, and proactive support to foster long-term customer relationships and success.
- • You will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality technical documentation, including guides, best practices, and implementation blueprints. This documentation will streamline pre-sales engagements and provide essential resources for post-sales workflows, empowering both internal teams and external customers.
- • Supporting product configuration and executing minor technical adjustments will be part of your day-to-day. This hands-on involvement ensures that prospect and customer implementations are smooth, efficient, and perfectly aligned with their specific needs and technical landscapes.
- • You will play a critical role in the product development lifecycle by channeling prospect feedback directly to the Product and Engineering teams. Your insights will be invaluable in shaping the product roadmap, ensuring that Lakera's platform continuously evolves to meet the dynamic demands of real-world AI security challenges.
- • As Lakera scales, you will contribute to building a robust and scalable Solutions Engineering function. This includes developing playbooks, defining repeatable best practices, and establishing efficient workflows that can be leveraged across the organization.

🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar customer-facing technical role.
- • Proven track record of managing relationships with large, complex organizations, ideally with experience selling or supporting deeply technical enterprise products.
- • Proficiency in coding, particularly with Python and JavaScript, and familiarity with their respective ecosystems.
- • Demonstrated experience enabling large-scale implementations within at least one major hyperscaler cloud environment (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
- • Understanding of and experience navigating security, compliance, and IT processes and requirements inherent in large enterprise B2B product implementations.
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to present technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences, from one-on-one meetings to large conference venues.
- • Demonstrated ability to work directly with customers of varying sizes, including large enterprises, building trust and delivering solutions.
- • An organized, self-starter mentality with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a knack for finding creative solutions to achieve project goals.
