- • As a Solutions Engineer at Lakera, you will be instrumental in driving sales velocity and ensuring customer success by acting as the primary technical liaison throughout the entire sales cycle. You will translate complex customer needs into tangible, effective solutions, leveraging Lakera's cutting-edge AI Defense Plane to empower enterprises in securing their AI stacks and unlocking innovative use cases. This is a pivotal customer-facing role where your technical acumen, strategic thinking, and empathetic approach will directly influence how businesses adopt and benefit from secure AI technologies.
- • Your responsibilities will span across the pre-sales and post-sales journey. In the pre-sales phase, you will engage with prospective clients, deeply understand their unique challenges and existing infrastructure, and architect tailored solutions that demonstrate the value and capabilities of Lakera's platform. This involves conducting technical discovery sessions, performing product demonstrations, and building proof-of-concepts that address specific customer requirements.
- • Post-sales, you will collaborate closely with the Customer Success team to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new clients. Your role will be to facilitate rapid adoption, help customers achieve their desired outcomes, and ensure they are maximizing the value derived from Lakera's AI security solutions. This includes providing technical guidance, troubleshooting, and supporting the integration of Lakera's platform into their existing workflows.
- • A key aspect of your role will be to develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including guides, best practices, and implementation blueprints. This documentation will serve to streamline both pre-sales engagements and post-sales support, creating a scalable and efficient knowledge base for internal teams and customers alike.
- • You will also be involved in supporting product configuration and implementing minor technical adjustments necessary for prospect and customer implementations. This hands-on involvement ensures that the platform is optimally configured to meet the specific technical demands of each client.
- • A critical feedback loop will be established through your direct interaction with prospects and customers. You will be responsible for channeling valuable insights, feature requests, and pain points back to our Product and Engineering teams. This input is crucial for shaping the future roadmap of Lakera's platform, ensuring it evolves in lockstep with real-world market needs and emerging AI security challenges.
- • As Lakera scales, you will play a foundational role in building out our Solutions Engineering function. This includes developing playbooks, establishing repeatable best practices, and contributing to the overall strategic direction of technical pre-sales and customer enablement efforts.
- • You will be a key contributor to Lakera's mission: to ensure AI does what we want it to do. By securing AI stacks and enabling responsible adoption, you will be at the forefront of building the security foundation for a future where AI agents are integrated into business operations and personal lives. 🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
- • Proven track record of managing relationships with large, complex organizations, ideally with experience selling or supporting deeply technical enterprise products.
- • Proficiency in coding, particularly within the Python and JavaScript ecosystems.
- • Demonstrated experience enabling large-scale implementations on at least one major hyperscaler platform (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- • Understanding of and experience navigating security, compliance, and IT processes within large enterprises when implementing B2B products.
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to diverse audiences, from one-on-one meetings to large conference venues.
- • An organized, self-starter approach with a passion for AI's potential and a commitment to its secure and ethical implementation.
