- • As a Sourcing Manager at Flock Safety, you will play a critical role in ensuring the uninterrupted supply of materials for the company’s public safety technology platform, directly supporting the mission to help communities thrive through proactive crime prevention and security solutions.
- • You will act as a key liaison between Supply Chain and Engineering, driving cost optimization, multi-sourcing strategies, and material readiness for both new product introductions and mass production, enabling Flock to scale its impact across thousands of communities nationwide.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing and coordinating camera production with contract manufacturers to ensure supply continuity within budget and PPV guidelines, leading cost savings initiatives across multiple products and logistics activities, and overseeing purchase orders, materials in transit, and device receipts to ensure compliance with contracted payment terms.
- • You will work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Asset Operations, and Finance to plan and execute recovery operations within budget constraints, conduct regular supply vs. demand analysis for critical materials to identify risks and inventory exposures, and manage slow-moving and obsolete materials at contract manufacturers.
- • A significant part of your role will involve managing key vendor accounts by monitoring open orders versus supply, payment terms, production, and CTB reports, anticipating potential supply issues at contract manufacturers, and developing action plans to mitigate disruptions.
- • You will lead and coordinate quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with contract manufacturers and key suppliers, bringing in cross-functional teams from Engineering, Quality, and other departments to align on performance, risks, and improvement opportunities.

🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of electronics program management experience
- • A degree in supply chain, sourcing, business, or engineering
- • Extensive experience working with and managing global suppliers
- • Experience in new product development and working with electrical and mechanical suppliers
- • Strong project management, decision-making, organizational, and record-keeping skills
- • Proven ability to work fluidly in cross-functional teams involving Manufacturing, Engineering, and Product Development
