- • As a Sourcing Specialist at Pearl Talent, you will be the driving force behind our top-of-funnel talent discovery process, meticulously identifying, engaging, and pre-qualifying candidates to build robust and readily available pipelines for our high-growth startup clients.
- • This role is inherently execution-heavy and deeply research-driven, demanding a proactive approach to sourcing, a structured methodology for outreach, and a disciplined commitment to pipeline management.
- • You will function as the primary talent discovery engine, leveraging sophisticated tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, advanced Boolean search techniques, and multi-channel outreach strategies to surface qualified candidates from diverse global markets.
- • This position is perfectly suited for resourceful and driven sourcers who excel in high-volume environments, derive satisfaction from engaging with candidates, and take immense pride in consistently delivering high-quality talent pipelines.
- • Your direct impact will be instrumental in accelerating hiring timelines for our clients and significantly enhancing the quality of candidates presented, thereby reducing the workload on recruiters and ensuring that only the most suitable individuals progress through the hiring funnel.
- • The structured notes, precise tagging, and insightful reporting you provide will equip our recruiting teams with the clarity and confidence necessary for effective decision-making, while simultaneously offering leadership valuable visibility into overall sourcing performance and effectiveness.
- • A significant portion of your role, approximately 35%, will be dedicated to Candidate Sourcing & Research. This involves expertly sourcing candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search queries, and various job boards, while also conducting in-depth research into candidate backgrounds, skill sets, and professional experiences to ensure a precise match.
- • You will be tasked with identifying both passive and active candidates who align perfectly with specific role requirements, and you will play a key role in building comprehensive talent maps and strategic sourcing plans for recurring hiring needs.
- • Sourcing will extend across multiple channels, including LinkedIn, professional referrals, online communities, and established networks, ensuring a wide and diverse candidate pool.
- • Staying abreast of the latest talent market trends, emerging hiring patterns, and innovative sourcing methodologies will be crucial for success, enabling you to identify future-ready talent pools to meet anticipated hiring demands.
- • Approximately 25% of your time will focus on Candidate Engagement & Outreach. This involves crafting targeted, compelling, and personalized outreach messages that resonate with potential candidates, and engaging them effectively via email, LinkedIn, phone calls, or video conferences.
- • You will conduct initial screening conversations to thoroughly assess candidate fit, interest, and motivation, clearly communicating the unique value propositions of the roles and outlining the subsequent steps in the hiring process.
- • Maintaining a consistently positive candidate experience from the very first point of contact through to the handoff to the recruiting team is paramount, and you will be responsible for professionally and accurately answering all candidate questions.
- • Nurturing candidate relationships for both immediate and future opportunities will be a key aspect of this engagement, building a strong network of potential talent.
- • Around 20% of your responsibilities will revolve around Pipeline Management & Database Maintenance. This includes maintaining meticulously organized and accurate candidate records within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring the integrity of the sourcing lifecycle from research and outreach to screening and shortlisting.
- • You will be responsible for effectively tagging and categorizing candidates to facilitate future matching and pipeline building, and for constructing and maintaining both role-specific and evergreen talent pools.
- • Ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and overall pipeline hygiene is critical for efficient operations, and you will track candidate progression and availability status diligently.
- • A smaller, yet vital, 10% of your role will be dedicated to Screening & Assessment. This involves validating candidate experience, essential skills, and proficiency with relevant tools, as well as assessing their communication quality, professionalism, and overall alignment with the role and company culture.
- • You will conduct structured screening interviews using predefined criteria, identifying any potential red flags or critical gaps early in the process, and preparing clear, concise candidate summaries for seamless handoff to recruiters.
- • The final 10% of your time will be allocated to Collaboration & Reporting. This includes closely aligning with recruiters and hiring managers on specific role requirements and sourcing strategies, and providing weekly updates on pipeline status and key sourcing metrics.
- • You will meticulously track outreach volume, response rates, and the number of qualified candidates submitted, sharing valuable market insights and sourcing learnings with the broader team, and continuously refining sourcing strategies based on performance data and feedback.
