📋 Description

• As a Special Projects Lead at Adaption Inc., you will serve as the strategic linchpin for high-impact, undefined initiatives that drive the company’s mission to build adaptive, real-time intelligence systems. This role is critical because it bridges vision and execution — taking ambiguous, founder-led concepts and transforming them into tangible outcomes that scale the company’s operational and technological foundation. You will be the catalyst who turns uncertainty into momentum, ensuring that Adaption’s bold AI vision is not just imagined but actively built, one project at a time.
• Day to day, you will lead special projects end-to-end, owning initiatives from first principles through to delivery — whether that’s designing a new internal tool, launching a cross-functional pilot, or reimagining how knowledge flows across a distributed team. You will scale team operations globally by building rituals, infrastructure, and communication frameworks that support cohesion as the company grows from a founding team to a scaled organization. You will partner directly with leadership to translate strategy into action, connecting dots across engineering, product, and operations to ensure strategic priorities don’t get lost in execution. You will own day-to-day business operations including vendor management, legal coordination, compliance, and administrative infrastructure, anticipating needs before they become blockers. You will constantly seek creative leverage — identifying unconventional fixes, 10x shortcuts, or reframes that simplify complex problems — whether through workflow innovation, vendor negotiation, or rethinking team rituals. You will also act as a force multiplier for the founders, freeing them to focus on long-term vision while you handle the operational complexity that enables it.

🎯 Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience in operations, strategy, or special projects roles, preferably at a high-growth startup or technology company
• Proven track record of building initiatives from scratch and driving complex, cross-functional projects to completion
• Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to bring fresh ideas to operational and strategic challenges
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for building trust across all levels of an organization
• Impeccable attention to detail and strong prioritization instincts, enabling effective context-switching without losing focus
• Bonus: Familiarity with AI/ML companies or technical product development environments
