📋 Description

• • Serve as a Specialist Automation Engineer within a cross-functional Scrum team, owning end-to-end quality for product modules and releases, including functional and non-functional aspects like performance, stability, security, and maintainability.
• • Drive an AI-first quality mindset by leveraging automation and data insights to enhance test efficiency, defect detection, and overall product quality.
• • Design and execute AI-assisted test strategies encompassing manual, automation, unit, integration, E2E, and exploratory testing for web and backend systems to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• • Lead test automation efforts by architecting, scaling, and maintaining automation frameworks using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript) and Cucumber; own the QA strategy, deliverables, and accountability across the team.
• • Identify defects early through proactive diagnosis and continuously improve test coverage and risk mitigation practices to reduce production incidents.
• • Contribute to Discovery and Epic reviews by partnering with Product Owners, developers, and DevOps to shape requirements, identify risks, and ensure environment readiness and stability.
• • Perform API testing using Postman, validate data integrity with SQL queries, and validate microservices architecture behavior in CI/CD pipelines powered by GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• • Ensure adherence to Agile (Scrum/Kanban) methodologies throughout the development lifecycle, aligning QA activities with sprint goals and release cycles.
• • Maintain and operate in virtual environments across Windows and shell-based systems, ensuring consistent test execution environments.
• • Champion quality as the team’s quality leader, accountable for upholding product standards and customer expectations across all stages of the software delivery pipeline.
• • Innovate and evolve QA practices by introducing new automation techniques, tooling, and metrics-driven quality improvements.
• • Collaborate with R&D teams to provide input on system behavior, ensuring alignment between development intent and quality validation.
• • Conduct both functional and non-functional testing with a strong focus on reliability, scalability, and user experience.
• • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to refine QA processes, reduce technical debt, and increase automation ROI.
• • Support compliance and accessibility standards by applying WCAG familiarity where applicable in testing workflows.
