- • Own the full lifecycle of Entegris liquid- and gas-handling equipment at customer fabs across Japan, from pristine installation through precision troubleshooting and proactive preventive maintenance, ensuring 24×7 uptime for the world’s most advanced semiconductor lines.
- • Travel to customer sites (domestic and occasional overseas) to install new or modified equipment, verify performance against exacting specifications, and commission systems that feed critical chemistries into CVD, CMP, and WET modules.
- • Provide rapid-response technical assistance—often within hours—via on-site visits, phone, and remote diagnostics, resolving complex equipment issues that could otherwise cost customers millions in lost wafer starts.
- • Execute cylinder and canister change-outs with strict adherence to safety and contamination-control protocols, coordinating the prompt return of empties to maintain uninterrupted chemical supply chains.
- • Maintain meticulous records of service interventions, performance metrics, and root-cause analyses; transform field findings into actionable data that feeds back to engineering teams for continuous product improvement.
- • Act as the primary communication bridge between Entegris and the customer’s process, facilities, and procurement teams, translating technical challenges into clear action plans and ensuring alignment on service expectations.
- • Champion customer satisfaction by delivering best-in-class installation quality, swift repair turnarounds, and value-added preventive-maintenance programs that extend equipment life and reduce total cost of ownership.
- • Contribute to the creation and refinement of service handbooks, bulletins, and SOPs, distilling hard-won field knowledge into standardized guides that elevate the global service organization’s capability.
- • Participate in scheduled and ad-hoc technical training to deepen expertise in semiconductor chemistries, pneumatics, PLC controls, and safety standards, keeping pace with the industry’s relentless innovation cycle.

🎯 Requirements
- • Two-year technical degree in engineering, science, or chemistry; four-year university degree is a strong plus.
- • Minimum 3 years of hands-on field service experience with capital equipment in semiconductor fabs or similarly demanding high-tech manufacturing environments.
- • Proven familiarity with CVD, CMP, or WET module equipment, including electrical, pneumatic, and chemical subsystems.
- • Native-level Japanese and business-fluent English for technical documentation, customer interaction, and global team collaboration.
- • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within Japan and occasionally overseas.
