- • The PD Designer (Contractor) plays a critical role in supporting partners’ work to improve literacy outcomes by ensuring professional development sessions for Amplify are well-designed, high-quality, and effectively executed.
- • Day to day, the role involves executing work plans as directed by the Professional Development team, managing work to meet deadlines, developing high-quality professional development session resources that translate into measurable improvements in instruction and student achievement, curating key curricular supports in collaboration with the team, and partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth logistics for PD sessions, including supporting project plans and creating accompanying resources.

- • In this role, the individual can develop expertise in instructional design for professional learning, deepen their understanding of literacy curriculum implementation, strengthen cross-functional collaboration skills, and contribute directly to improving teacher effectiveness and student achievement in early education settings.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree
- • Minimum of 2 years teaching experience preferred, ideally in grades PreK-5, with demonstrated student achievement
- • Experience in a start-up, fast paced, high-growth, or entrepreneurial environment
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly set expectations, timelines, and align on standards of excellence
- • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities from different sources
- • Analytical and strategic thinking, with the ability to deconstruct problems and develop coherent, actionable solutions
