- • Own the full sales cycle for Halozyme’s innovative specialty therapeutics across Pasadena, CA and surrounding markets, driving new prescriptions by educating and influencing Urologists, Endocrinologists, Rheumatologists, and Primary Care Providers. You will be the face of Halozyme in your territory, translating complex science into clear clinical value and forging long-term partnerships that improve patient outcomes.
- • Deliver compelling, data-driven sales presentations that are tailored to each prescriber’s practice profile, patient mix, and payer environment. Leverage company-provided segmentation data, clinical literature, and real-world evidence to customize every interaction and maximize impact.
- • Maintain an expert-level command of disease-state education, product mechanism of action, safety, efficacy, and competitive landscape. Continuously update your knowledge base through internal medical affairs resources, congress attendance, and peer-reviewed publications to remain a trusted clinical resource.
- • Navigate complex managed-care and reimbursement ecosystems with confidence. Interpret formularies, prior-authorization requirements, step edits, and state/federal payer policies to ensure seamless patient access and minimize administrative burden on providers and staff.
- • Coach physicians, nurses, and office staff on patient self-injection techniques, storage requirements, and adherence strategies. Provide hands-on training sessions and leave behind easy-to-use educational tools that empower the entire care team.
- • Build and execute a strategic territory business plan that prioritizes high-value targets, anticipates market shifts, and aligns with corporate objectives. Monitor KPIs such as prescription pull-through, speaker-program ROI, and formulary wins, adjusting tactics in real time to exceed sales goals.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Science Liaisons, Market Access, Marketing, and Commercial Operations to share field intelligence, refine messaging, and launch pilot programs that accelerate adoption.
- • Utilize the full suite of CRM and digital engagement platforms to document interactions, capture insights, and generate data-driven territory analytics. Ensure all activities comply with OIG, FDA, and company policies while maintaining the highest ethical standards.
- • Plan and execute educational speaker programs, advisory boards, and peer-to-peer dinners that foster scientific exchange and deepen KOL relationships. Secure attendance, coordinate logistics, and measure post-event impact to demonstrate ROI.
- • Travel throughout the assigned geography (up to 60% overnight and weekend as needed) to maximize face-to-face engagement, attend national conferences, and support regional initiatives. Manage travel logistics and expenses within company guidelines.
- • Champion Halozyme’s “One Team” culture by mentoring new hires, sharing best practices during national meetings, and actively participating in diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives that strengthen our collective impact.
