- • Support account on-boarding through education for dermatology healthcare providers (HCPs) and their staff.
- • Engage in clinical selling activities by delivering the clinical value proposition and advancing customers through a brand educational continuum.
- • Provide initial clinical and patient access education to medical staff within dermatology practices, clinics, and hospital accounts.
- • Coordinate and support clinical education opportunities, including peer-to-peer education programs for HCPs.
- • Conduct account management activities within assigned dermatology-focused physician offices, clinics, and hospital outlets.
- • Attain sales goals and objectives by driving product volume and key performance metrics in the assigned territory.
- • Develop and deliver targeted sales messages to HCPs using approved marketing materials, medical reprints, and accurate clinical information to support safe and effective product use.
- • Establish and maintain professional relationships with dermatology decision-makers, support staff, and other stakeholders to promote optimal product utilization.
- • Execute local marketing strategies by leveraging company resources and collaborating with internal teams to enhance business outcomes.
- • Present complex clinical and business information on assigned products and patient support services to dermatologists, healthcare professionals, professional groups, and patient organizations.
- • Develop and implement medical education programs to expand the knowledge of healthcare professionals in dermatology disease states and treatments.
- • Strategically manage allocated resources including budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, and home office support.
- • Continuously educate self on evolving disease states, treatment options, and market dynamics to maintain clinical and commercial expertise.
- • Adhere to all Takeda compliance policies, guidelines, and training requirements, demonstrating leadership and integrity in all interactions.
- • Exemplify Takeda’s patient-first values and commitment to high standards of customer satisfaction in all customer engagements.
- • Travel to customer accounts and business meetings, with up to 25-50% overnight travel required based on geographic assignment.
- • Maintain a valid driver’s license and possess the ability to drive or fly to assigned accounts within the Ohio territory.
- • Successfully complete mandatory product training, including written and oral examinations, prior to transitioning to exempt status and eligibility for sales incentives.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS)
- • 3+ years of successful selling experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industry; OR 2+ years of successful selling experience at Takeda
- • Experience calling on dermatologists or within dermatology therapeutic area highly preferred
- • Valid driver’s license
- • Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography in Ohio
- • Ability to travel up to 25-50% overnight
