📋 Description
- • Specialist in Payroll – International Payroll Specialist role focused on ensuring timely, compliant, and accurate payroll processing across European markets within Avantor’s Global Payroll team.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include verifying payroll results (gross-to-net reports, variance analyses, payment files, statutory declarations), preparing and reconciling accounting entries for month-end close, processing off-cycle payments (final settlements, bonuses, commissions), handling payroll inquiries from employees, HR, managers, and external institutions, monitoring legislative changes, and maintaining up-to-date process documentation.
- • The team operates within Avantor’s global payroll function, supporting international payroll operations with a focus on data accuracy, process improvement, and collaboration across HR, Finance, and external payroll providers in a remote-first environment based in Poland.
- • The role offers opportunities to deepen expertise in international payroll compliance, advance technical skills in Excel and payroll systems like Workday, contribute to audit readiness, and grow professionally within a global organization driving life-changing science.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 3 years of experience in European payroll processes.
- • Experience working with external payroll service providers (e.g., ADP, Safeguard).
- • Ability to analyze payroll data and work with large datasets.
- • Very good work organization, high attention to detail, and self-direction.
- • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
- • English language proficiency at minimum C1 level (spoken and written).
- • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
