📋 Description

• Provide teletherapy services as a Speech-Language Pathologist to children and adults in school-based and outpatient settings across remote Missouri locations.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders using evidence-based clinical practices.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for conditions including stuttering, delayed language development, swallowing disorders, atypical voice production, and social communication impairments.
• Deliver school-based teletherapy services to rural school districts on a PRN basis, following the academic calendar with guaranteed hours during the school year.
• Conduct outpatient teletherapy sessions with pre-scheduled, consistent patient caseloads to ensure continuity of care and therapeutic progress.
• Work remotely from home while maintaining professional, real-time clinical interactions with students and patients via secure telehealth platforms.
• Collaborate with school staff, caregivers, and healthcare providers to coordinate care and support patient outcomes.
• Document clinical evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.
• Maintain active licensure as a Speech Therapist in the state of Missouri and hold CCC or be a CFY candidate.
• Demonstrate strong clinical expertise, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through attendance at continuing education workshops and application of emerging therapeutic techniques.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, educators, and interdisciplinary teams with a positive, empathetic attitude.
• Adhere to all HIPAA and telehealth compliance protocols to ensure patient confidentiality and data security during virtual sessions.
• Adapt therapy approaches to meet the unique needs of pediatric and adult populations across diverse clinical and educational environments.
• Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and quality improvement initiatives as required by OP Therapy Teleservices.
• Maintain flexible availability to accommodate varied school hours and outpatient scheduling needs during daytime shifts.

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology or Communicative Disorders and Sciences
• Active License in Speech Therapy in the state of Missouri
• CCC or CFY candidate status
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Demonstrated clinical expertise in speech, language, and swallowing disorders
• Strong communication skills and positive professional attitude
