• • PhD Research Intern in Speech AI at Centific Global Technologies, focusing on designing and evaluating speech-first models such as Spoken Language Models (SLMs) that reason over audio and enable conversational interaction.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include prototyping end-to-end speech dialogue systems, aligning speech encoders with text backbones via lightweight adapters, developing efficient speech tokenization methods, building evaluation harnesses for ASR/SLU/tasks, and creating streaming inference demos with logging and reliability checks.
• • Centific is a frontier AI data foundry with over 150 PhDs and 4,000 AI practitioners, specializing in high-quality data curation, multimodal LLMs, RAG pipelines, and zero-distance innovation™ solutions that reduce GenAI costs by up to 80% and accelerate time-to-market by 50% for enterprise clients.
