This pivotal role is responsible for orchestrating all aspects of Motorola Solutions’ business relationship within an assigned portfolio of target customers. You will be instrumental in driving demand generation, executing sales strategies, developing comprehensive account plans, and fostering enduring client relationships. As a trusted advisor, you will influence customer technology platform decisions, cultivating preference and loyalty for Motorola Solutions' innovative public safety applications and core technologies.
  • • Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing strategic sales plans for designated geographic and target accounts across Ohio. This involves understanding the unique needs of city, county, and state agencies within the public safety sector, including law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency management services. You will be expected to proactively identify and develop large-scale project opportunities that leverage Motorola Solutions' extensive range of products and services, from core communication systems to advanced expansion technologies.
  • • Building and nurturing strong, trusted relationships with key decision-makers and influencers is paramount. This includes engaging with officials such as Sheriffs, Mayors, CIOs, Police Chiefs, and Fire Chiefs. Your ability to understand and influence their technology and funding priorities will be critical to success. You will act as a conduit, ensuring customers are aware of and benefit from Motorola Solutions' cutting-edge solutions that enhance safety and operational efficiency.
  • • The role demands a deep understanding of the public safety landscape and the ability to articulate the value proposition of complex technology solutions. You will need to quickly learn and master the key characteristics of our products and services, translating technical features into tangible benefits for our clients. This includes staying abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to provide insightful guidance.
  • • A significant aspect of this role involves strategic account management. You will employ proven methodologies to manage and grow your accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for expansion. This may also involve collaborating with and leveraging channel partners to effectively address customer requirements and broaden our reach.
  • • The Sr. Account Manager will be a key player in driving Motorola Solutions' mission to help keep people safer everywhere by connecting technologies that protect people, property, and places. You will contribute to fostering the collaboration critical for safer communities, schools, hospitals, and businesses, ultimately supporting safer nations.
