- • As a Sr. Acquisition Account Executive at Pluralsight, you will be at the forefront of driving revenue growth by acquiring new logos and expanding our customer base within your designated region. This pivotal role demands a strategic and proactive approach to sales, focusing on identifying and closing high-value opportunities with C-level executives and senior decision-makers.
- • You will own the entire sales cycle, from initial lead generation and prospecting through to contract negotiation and signature. This end-to-end responsibility requires a deep understanding of the sales process, exceptional pipeline management skills, and a consistent ability to meet and exceed ambitious revenue targets.
- • A key aspect of your role will involve developing and executing a comprehensive territory plan. This plan must align with Pluralsight's overarching corporate strategy, identifying key market segments, potential clients, and strategic initiatives to maximize revenue growth and market penetration.
- • You will be instrumental in sourcing, developing, and managing your own pipeline of high-value opportunities. This involves meticulous research, targeted outreach, and building strong relationships with prospective clients to ensure a consistent and robust flow of qualified deals.
- • Success in this role hinges on your ability to strategically engage with C-level executives and senior decision-makers. You will need to deeply understand their business challenges and priorities, effectively articulating how Pluralsight's solutions can deliver tangible business impact and drive significant value.
- • To achieve this, you will leverage sophisticated sales methodologies such as Solution-Selling, Challenger Sale, or Value Selling. Applying these frameworks will enable you to conduct high-impact engagements, accelerate deal velocity, and differentiate Pluralsight from competitors.
- • Collaboration is crucial. You will work closely with and provide direction to an extended account team, including Solution Engineers, Business Development Representatives (BDRs), and Customer Success Managers (CSMs). This cross-functional partnership ensures a seamless customer experience and identifies opportunities for account expansion and deeper engagement.
- • Maintaining rigorous pipeline discipline, forecast accuracy, and sales process excellence is paramount. You will be responsible for ensuring full visibility into deal progression, key success metrics, and overall pipeline health, providing regular updates and insights to sales leadership.
- • You will be accountable for consistently generating pipeline revenue, demonstrating a strong understanding of market dynamics and customer needs to proactively identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
- • This role requires a commitment to continuous learning and adaptation, embracing new approaches to sales and customer engagement. You will be encouraged to experiment, learn from outcomes, and proactively seek feedback to refine your strategies and techniques.
- • Your communication style should be self-aware, insightful, and proactive, fostering strong relationships both internally and externally. As a team member first, you will contribute to a high-performing team environment, recognizing that collective success is built on the strength of every individual.
- • You will be expected to maintain a deep understanding of Pluralsight's product offerings and the competitive landscape, positioning our solutions effectively against alternatives and highlighting our unique value proposition.
- • The role involves managing complex sales cycles, often with multi-year SaaS contracts, requiring strong negotiation skills and the ability to build long-term, trusted advisor relationships with clients.
- • You will be responsible for understanding and articulating the return on investment (ROI) for Pluralsight's solutions, demonstrating clear financial and operational benefits to prospective customers.
- • This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, mission-driven organization focused on shaping the future of technology upskilling and delivering impactful solutions to a global clientele.
- • You will contribute to a culture of inclusion and belonging, where diverse perspectives are valued and everyone has the opportunity to thrive and grow professionally.
- • Embrace a blended work environment that balances collaboration, flexibility, and connection, fostering a strong team culture while supporting individual work styles.
- • Continuously expand your skills and knowledge in areas critical to technological innovation, contributing to your professional development and career growth within Pluralsight.
