- • Every claim presents a unique narrative, and your role as a Sr. Claims Advocate will be to expertly uncover the truth behind each one. Leveraging your sharp investigative acumen and your ability to communicate with clarity and compassion, you will guide small business owners through critical moments, providing support and ensuring fair resolution.
- • This position is ideal for individuals who excel at connecting disparate pieces of information and building rapport with people, demonstrating a keen ability to understand complex situations and communicate effectively with all parties involved.
- • As a Sr. Claims Advocate, your primary responsibility will be to meticulously investigate, evaluate, and resolve a diverse range of claims. This includes General Liability claims involving Bodily Injury and Property Damage, as well as Professional Liability claims. You will manage these cases independently, whether or not legal counsel is involved.
- • A critical aspect of your role will involve in-depth analysis of policy terms, claim reports, relevant statutes, and case law to accurately assess coverage, liability, and damages. This comprehensive evaluation will inform your decision-making process and ensure appropriate claim handling strategies are implemented.
- • You will be the primary point of contact for policyholders, claimants, and witnesses, requiring you to communicate with exceptional clarity and empathy. Your responsibilities will include gathering essential information, providing timely and transparent updates on claim progress, and proactively guiding individuals through the entire claims process.
- • A key function of your role will be to identify and flag potentially fraudulent claims, referring them to our Special Investigations Unit (SIU) for further review. Concurrently, you will actively seek out and pursue third-party subrogation opportunities where applicable, aiming to recover costs and mitigate losses.
- • Maintaining strict compliance with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements across various jurisdictions is paramount. You will ensure that all claim handling practices adhere to legal and industry standards, safeguarding the company and our policyholders.
- • You will consistently demonstrate strong customer service skills, approaching each interaction with empathy, clear and concise communication, and an unwavering focus on achieving a satisfactory resolution for all parties involved.
- • This role demands a proactive approach to claim management, requiring you to anticipate potential issues, manage claim reserves effectively, and negotiate settlements with a focus on fairness and efficiency.
- • You will contribute to the continuous improvement of our claims processes by providing feedback and insights based on your experience, helping to refine our strategies and enhance the overall customer experience.
- • Your ability to manage a complex caseload efficiently, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet critical deadlines will be essential for success in this dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- • You will act as a trusted advisor to our policyholders, helping them navigate the complexities of the claims process during what can be a stressful time.

🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 4 years of experience handling liability claims, specifically involving bodily injury, with a proven track record in coverage analysis, thorough investigation, and compliance-focused claims handling.
- • Demonstrated expertise in injury evaluation and negotiation skills, with a history of successfully resolving complex claims.
- • Excellent written and oral communication skills, coupled with strong interpersonal, analytical, investigative, and negotiation abilities.
- • Possession of, or the ability to promptly obtain, a Texas Independent Adjuster License.
- • A natural curiosity paired with relentless follow-through to ensure comprehensive claim resolution.
- • Ability to remain calm under pressure and a talent for diffusing tense situations.
