📋 Description
- • Serve as the primary liaison between Centene Corporation and community organizations, stakeholders, members, and potential members to promote health plan services and initiatives.
- • Develop and implement strategic community outreach plans aimed at increasing awareness and access to Medicare, Medicaid, and SCHIP benefits.
- • Identify and target specific demographic populations within Illinois to guide the planning and execution of outreach events and activities.
- • Coordinate logistics for community and health events, including scheduling, materials preparation, staffing, and on-site representation.
- • Represent Centene at public health events to distribute information about member benefits, services, and enrollment opportunities.
- • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with community resource centers, advocacy groups, and local organizations to expand support networks for members.
- • Support members in navigating access to healthcare services, transportation assistance, and other critical social needs as they arise.
- • Organize and manage volunteer programs in partnership with local community groups to enhance outreach impact.
- • Participate in the organization’s charitable giving initiatives that align with community health and wellness goals.
- • Travel up to 50% across a 2,200-mile territory in Illinois to conduct field work, attend events, and engage with communities.
- • Ensure all outreach activities comply with company policies, regulatory standards, and legal requirements.
- • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the broader mission of community health equity and member engagement.
🎯 Requirements
- • High school diploma or equivalent
- • 5+ years of community outreach experience
- • Experience working with government-sponsored populations (Medicare, Medicaid, SCHIP)
- • Proven experience in public speaking
- • Must reside within 100 miles of Springfield, Illinois
- • Ability to travel up to 50% within Illinois
