We are dedicated to creating captivating, high-performance electric cars that redefine the human experience through intuitive design, exceptional performance, and intelligent technology. At Lucid, we believe in returning to the fundamentals of great design, where every decision serves the individual and the environment, freeing us to define our own experiences and break free from convention.
- • As a Sr. Compensation Manager, you will play an instrumental role in the design, analysis, and administration of Lucid's comprehensive compensation programs. Reporting directly to the Head of Global Compensation, this position is crucial for supporting our Engineering, Strategy & Business Development, Program Management, and Supply Chain organizations, ensuring their compensation strategies align with business objectives in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
- • This role demands a strategic thinker with profound expertise in compensation, capable of leveraging data-driven insights and providing consultative guidance to HR Business Partners and business leaders. You will be a key partner in ensuring Lucid's compensation programs are not only competitive in the market but also equitable internally and aligned with our overarching company goals. The ideal candidate is proactive, possesses exceptional attention to detail, demonstrates strong execution capabilities, and embodies a consultative mindset to drive key compensation initiatives forward.
- • You will lead complex compensation analyses and sophisticated modeling efforts to inform the strategic design of our programs, guide critical pay decisions, and ensure our market competitiveness. - • A significant part of your role will involve advising HR Business Partners and senior business leaders on all aspects of compensation. This includes providing expert guidance on compensation decisions, ensuring pay equity across the organization, and structuring competitive offers for new hires and internal promotions, always balancing external market data with internal alignment and fairness.
- • You will co-own and meticulously manage the company-wide annual rewards cycle. This encompasses the comprehensive preparation, detailed analytics, clear communication, and flawless execution of cyclical compensation planning processes, such as merit increases, promotion adjustments, and annual bonus cycles. Your oversight will ensure these critical processes run smoothly and effectively.
- • Own and manage the company's participation in compensation surveys, including selecting appropriate surveys, submitting data accurately, and thoroughly interpreting the results. This analysis will be vital in guiding our competitive benchmarking efforts and ensuring our compensation packages remain attractive and relevant.
- • Take ownership of the evaluation and leveling of new and evolving roles within the organization. You will utilize established frameworks, such as Radford, or similar methodologies, to ensure consistent and accurate job grading and salary range assignment, supporting career development and organizational clarity.
- • Contribute significantly to the ongoing evolution and refinement of our global compensation structures. This involves developing and maintaining robust salary ranges, implementing appropriate geographic differentials, and designing effective bonus and incentive plans that motivate and reward performance.
- • Foster strong collaboration across the broader HR function, including Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, and People Operations. Your expertise will ensure that compensation programs are clearly understood, consistently applied, and effectively communicated throughout the organization, reinforcing a culture of fairness and transparency.
- • Provide essential subject matter expertise on critical compliance areas, including FLSA classifications, the development and maintenance of our job architecture, and ensuring adherence to wage and hour regulations. Your guidance will help mitigate compliance risks.
- • Take full ownership of compensation-related policies and documentation. You will play a key role in the development, maintenance, and governance of these standards, ensuring they are up-to-date, compliant, and effectively communicated to stakeholders.
- • This role offers a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact on Lucid's success by ensuring our compensation practices are a strategic advantage in attracting, motivating, and retaining the exceptional talent needed to drive the future of luxury electric mobility.
