- • Your primary responsibility will be to strategically identify, pre-qualify, and acquire new prospects. This involves a deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to position Ameresco's comprehensive offerings as the premier solution for their energy efficiency, conservation, and renewable technology requirements.
- • You will be instrumental in formulating and executing successful sales strategies aimed at significantly increasing sales activities and consistently achieving ambitious annual goals. This requires a proactive approach to market engagement and a keen eye for emerging opportunities.
- • A critical aspect of this role involves the development, organization, strategic positioning, and preparation of winning proposals and presentations. You will take ownership of the entire proposal process, from preliminary concepts to final submission, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and persuasive content.
- • Serving as the key point of contact with clients, you will lead all presentations, effectively communicating the value proposition of Ameresco's solutions and fostering strong, lasting relationships.

- • Continuous development and maintenance of your knowledge base are crucial. This includes a deep understanding of all Ameresco's product and service offerings, as well as staying abreast of market trends, renewable energy developments, and evolving energy services.
- • You will collaborate closely with Project Management and Operations teams to ensure a seamless interface between sales initiatives and project implementation, guaranteeing successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
- • Coordination with the Sales Consultant Team is vital for managing sales leads and opportunities specifically within the Cities, Schools, and Higher Education segments, ensuring a cohesive and effective sales approach.
- • Cultivating and nurturing strong, long-term customer relationships is paramount. This involves understanding client challenges, providing exceptional service, and acting as a trusted advisor.
- • You will be expected to perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute to the broader team's success.
- • This role demands a proactive approach to business development, including identifying potential energy needs within target markets and effectively communicating how Ameresco's advanced controls and building automation solutions can address these needs, thereby positioning Ameresco as the provider of choice.
