- • Sr. Controls Engineer responsible for driving design, functionality, and testing of upper-level automated sortation systems, leading and assisting in the design and programming of new projects while mentoring junior engineers.
- • Day-to-day tasks include writing and implementing modular PLC code, designing and developing HMIs using Ignition, Wonderware, FactoryTalk View or Optix, implementing PLC and HMI programs to meet specifications, reviewing electrical designs, providing as-built drawings, commissioning and troubleshooting complex automated systems, and supporting site engineering and acceptance testing.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or comparable field
- • 4-7 years of experience in an industrial controls environment including PLC programming (Rockwell required, Siemens, Schneider or other expected)
- • HMI programming experience with FactoryTalk View, Ignition, Wonderware, or Indusoft
- • Experience with input/output device design, implementation, and troubleshooting
- • Knowledge of industrial communication networks (EtherNet/IP, ProfiNet, Modbus, etc.)
- • Ability to provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to junior controls engineers
