  • • As a Senior Corporate Loan Processor at CrossCountry Mortgage (CCM), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of corporate loans, contributing directly to the company's standing as a leading national mortgage lender.
  • • This role is crucial for obtaining and meticulously verifying all necessary documentation required for loan underwriting, acting as a key liaison between borrowers, loan officers, and internal departments.
  • • You will be responsible for conducting thorough reviews and analyses of borrower credit, income, and asset documentation, ensuring strict adherence to specific loan program requirements before submission to underwriting.
  • • A primary responsibility involves compiling complete loan packages, meticulously verifying the accuracy and completeness of all submitted documents, and proactively identifying any potential issues that could impede the loan approval process.
  • • Before submitting a file to underwriting, you will prepare a comprehensive loan approval summary, highlighting any missing documentation, and then facilitate the transfer of a fully documented file to the underwriter for final approval or denial.
  • • You will engage directly with customers to secure any outstanding documentation essential for loan finalization, maintaining clear and professional communication throughout the process.
  • • A key performance indicator for this role is the consistent management of a pipeline of approximately 40 active loans, with a target of funding a minimum of 27 units per month.
  • • Efficient pipeline management is paramount, requiring you to prioritize loans based on departmental Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and estimated closing dates to ensure timely loan closures.
  • • You will actively participate in branch pipeline calls, providing updates and insights as needed, fostering collaboration and transparency within the team.
  • • Continuous professional development is expected, including the completion of all assigned training classes by CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC before their due dates.
  • • A critical aspect of the role involves reviewing loans for compliance with all relevant mortgage regulations, including RESPA, TIL, HMDA, Reg. B, and others, ensuring all loans meet stringent legal and industry standards.
  • • You will be responsible for preparing and issuing proper disclosures and re-disclosures as mandated by regulatory requirements, maintaining accurate and up-to-date loan documentation.
  • • Completing required loan submission, re-submission, and closing checklists accurately and efficiently is essential for maintaining organized loan files.
  • • Meticulous documentation of all communication related to loan applications within the Loan Origination System (LOS) conversation log is required to ensure a clear audit trail.
  • • You will provide essential support by assisting in the coverage of co-worker’s pipelines when necessary, demonstrating teamwork and a commitment to departmental goals.
  • • Collaboration extends to assisting closing, secondary, and servicing departments by obtaining necessary documentation to clear outstanding suspense items, both for loans you have processed and those handled by other team members.
  • • Flexibility in your work schedule is important, as you may need to modify your hours and occasionally work overtime to fulfill responsibilities based on business needs and fluctuating workloads.
  • • You will perform other duties as required, contributing to the overall success and operational efficiency of the loan processing team.
  • • This position operates primarily within Pacific and Mountain Time zone working hours to effectively support the West Coast region, ensuring timely communication and processing for clients in these areas.
  • • You will communicate with various companies to obtain vendor information, including verification of employment, title commitment, and payoff information, ensuring all vendor orders are completed, returned, and invoices are documented.
  • • The role demands a proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential roadblocks in the loan process, ensuring a seamless experience for borrowers and stakeholders.
