- • As a Senior Data Engineer at SHI International Corp., you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s data strategy by designing, building, and maintaining scalable data engineering solutions that power internal and external digital experiences. Your work will directly impact how data is integrated, centralized, and leveraged across business operations, enabling data-driven decision-making at scale.
- • Day to day, you will: drive organizational data strategy through data model design and database development standards; collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions; design and implement data warehouses and ETL workflows to ensure reliable data flow; coach and mentor team members through code and design reviews to uphold technical excellence; optimize end-to-end data architecture by evaluating technology choices, security, and testing practices; extend and support data engineering environments with a focus on developer experience, CI/CD, and automation; lead creation and maintenance of technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and visualizations for cross-functional teams; and continuously improve existing data and ETL processes through proactive recommendations and innovation.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience
- • Minimum 10 years of experience developing data applications, relational databases, and ETL platforms
- • Expert knowledge of data modeling, database design, data warehousing, and SQL scripting
- • Proven ability to build highly available, testable ETL systems supporting critical business operations
- • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex ideas clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
- • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization abilities with a track record of taking initiative and managing time effectively
