- • As a Sr. Data Engineer at Luxury Presence, you will be a technical leader shaping the AI-powered data platform that supports real estate professionals across the U.S., driving innovation in how data systems are built and operated in an AI-augmented environment.
- • You will design, implement, and operate high-throughput streaming pipelines processing 400M+ monthly MLS updates from 350+ integrations using Airflow, Spark Streaming, Kafka, and Iceberg, ensuring data reliability, performance, and correctness at scale.
- • You will model and deliver production-grade real estate datasets that power core product experiences, focusing on data modeling, transformation logic, and optimizing for freshness, accuracy, and cost.
- • You will strengthen data quality and observability by implementing monitoring, alerting, and AI-driven tooling to detect and resolve issues early, reducing manual intervention and increasing team efficiency.
- • You will work within a high-impact, Series C-backed company on track to reach $100M ARR, where AI is deeply integrated into engineering practices, and contribute to defining the future of AI-augmented software development.
- • You will collaborate with a small, elite engineering team that leverages AI agents daily to write, review, and ship production code, operating at the forefront of AI-effective companies.
🎯 Requirements
- • Expertise in building and scaling high-throughput data pipelines using technologies such as Airflow, Spark Streaming, Kafka, and Iceberg.
- • Strong experience in data modeling and ETL/ELT processes for large-scale, production-grade datasets, particularly in real estate or similar domains.
- • Proven ability to implement data quality frameworks, observability tools, and monitoring systems to ensure data reliability and correctness.
- • Hands-on experience leveraging AI or LLMs to improve data operations, such as automating issue triage, debugging, or pipeline optimization.
- • Deep proficiency in SQL and Python, with a track record of writing clean, maintainable, and production-ready code in data engineering contexts.
- • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, AI-driven engineering culture where autonomy, technical ownership, and innovation are expected.
