- • As a Senior Director Analyst in Data Management at Gartner, you will create research and analysis that provides insight, predictions, and actionable advice to clients on data management solutions and platforms, supporting sales in new business and client retention.
- • Day to day, you will identify critical client questions, conduct innovative research, produce thought-leading analysis, deliver high-value presentations, assist sales with research briefings and POC engagements, lead research community meetings, and provide peer review.
- • You will join Gartner’s global research team of 21,000 associates supporting ~14,000 client enterprises across ~90 countries, working in a hybrid environment focused on delivering objective, actionable insights for enterprise leaders.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in data management technologies including data lakehouses, data mesh, data fabric, AI-ready data capabilities, and knowledge graphs, while developing leadership, storytelling, and influence skills to shape client strategies and market understanding.
🎯 Requirements
- • 12+ years of experience within the field of data management
- • Proven experience in presenting to clients at events and conferences, performing workshops and briefings
- • Previously held a leadership role within business or technology field in data management practice areas
- • Bachelor’s Degree and/or advanced professional qualification(s) in a related field; Master’s Degree in related discipline is an advantage
- • Exceptional analytical skills; ability to apply conceptual models, recognize patterns, and defend research positions and conclusions
- • Very good storyteller with articulate and succinct communication skills; strong writing skills
