- • As a Senior Director Analyst in Gartner’s Human Resources Practice, you will serve as a thought leader and expert in learning and development (L&D) and skills management technology, delivering actionable insights that help CHROs and HR leaders navigate the evolving impact of AI and emerging technologies on workforce development.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include creating innovative, research-driven content on L&D technology trends, conducting in-depth analysis to identify client barriers, developing thought leadership pieces, presenting insights at conferences and client briefings, mentoring junior analysts, and supporting sales teams with market expertise to drive client engagement and business growth.
- • You will join Gartner’s Business and Technology Insights (BTI) group, a global team of 21,000 associates supporting ~14,000 client enterprises across ~90 countries, where you’ll contribute to a culture of intellectual curiosity, inclusivity, and high-impact research that shapes enterprise decision-making worldwide.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in HR technology markets, strengthen your executive presence with C-suite leaders, refine your research and storytelling abilities, and play a pivotal role in advancing Gartner’s research agenda while mentoring the next generation of analysts.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 12+ years of relevant field or industry experience.
- • Specific knowledge of L&D and skills management platforms and technologies, including AI-enabled skills management, legacy system transitions, and skills taxonomy creation.
- • Extensive experience with one or more of the following: Cornerstone, Dayforce, Gloat, LinkedIn, Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, Skillsoft, Workday.
- • Profound understanding of CHRO and L&D leaders’ workflows, priorities, and challenges in enterprise settings.
- • Deep first-hand knowledge of the global L&D and skills tech landscape, including market dynamics, vendors, products, and emerging AI/generative AI use cases and their impact on HR processes and data governance.
- • Demonstrated executive presence, strong organizational skills, excellence in research and writing, and strong verbal and written communication skills to engage clients and defend conclusions.
- • Ability to work independently while collaborating across multicultural global teams, with learning agility in highly matrixed environments.
- • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% where applicable.
