- • As a Senior Director Analyst in Organizational Design at Gartner, you will serve as a thought leader and individual contributor within the Business and Technology Insights (BTI) group, providing credible, actionable insights to Chief Human Resources Officers (CHROs) and senior HR leaders on organization design, work, team and role design, and job architecture.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include creating innovative research in multiple formats (writing, video, infographics, podcasts), delivering individualized advice to clients based on quantitative and qualitative data, tracking market trends and emerging technologies in AI-driven organizational design, developing in-depth analyses to identify root causes of client challenges, and presenting insights at Gartner events, conferences, and client briefings.
- • You will join Gartner’s growing Human Resources Practice, a team dedicated to advising CHROs on strategic HR topics, operating within a global, multicultural, and highly matrixed environment where collaboration, intellectual curiosity, and client-centricity are paramount.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in organizational design and AI-driven HR trends, establish thought leadership across analyst teams, mentor junior colleagues, refine research processes, and directly influence Gartner’s research agenda while building credibility as a trusted advisor to global enterprise leaders.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of relevant field or industry experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- • Demonstrated expertise in all areas of Organizational Design including designing and implementing job architecture, workflows, and internal mobility programs
- • Profound understanding of the challenges CHROs face in managing organization design efforts at enterprise, business unit, and team levels
- • Expertise in organizational design techniques and practices with perspective on how OD will evolve in the AI era
- • Demonstrated executive presence and ability to establish immediate credibility with executives and stakeholders
- • Strong written and verbal proficiency, analytical and presentation skills; ability to engage clients and respond effectively to questions
- • Proficient in analyzing and synthesizing data; able to apply patterns and frameworks to draw and defend conclusions to client challenges
- • Strong communicator who can explain complex concepts concisely and simply
- • Subject matter expert comfortable presenting at large and small-scale speaking engagements
- • Strong business and financial acumen
- • Deep knowledge of the global and competitive landscape within organizational design and its market interplay
- • Ability to work independently while being intrinsically motivated to collaborate across teams in a multicultural global team
- • Learning agile and adept at navigating highly matrixed environments
- • Ability to represent Gartner’s research methodology and strategies effectively at all levels
- • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% (where applicable)
