📋 Description

• Lead Dexcom’s consumer software application portfolio, driving strategy, development, delivery, and lifecycle management of customer-facing digital products and services.
• Build and lead high-performing cross-functional software teams operating under a Product Operating Model with end-to-end ownership of product outcomes, software quality, reliability, and delivery execution.
• Develop scalable organizational structures and engineering capabilities aligned to Dexcom’s Product Operating Model.
• Drive modern engineering practices including CI/CD pipelines, AI-assisted development workflows, automated testing, integrated quality engineering, and reliable software delivery at scale.
• Partner with architecture and platform leaders to incorporate modern cloud, data, and AI-enabled capabilities into future consumer product experiences.
• Ensure delivery of highly available, high-quality software to large user populations across mobile applications, cloud-native architectures, APIs, and digital ecosystems.
• Integrate AI-enabled capabilities, intelligent automation, or advanced analytics into customer-facing products and internal engineering workflows.
• Manage engineering teams with accountability for customer outcomes and software performance in a global, consumer-focused health technology environment.
• Operate in a remote-first environment with occasional travel required (15–25%) to support team collaboration and organizational initiatives.
• Foster a culture of innovation, integrity, and dependability aligned with Dexcom’s mission to improve human health through biosensing technology.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including product, design, data science, and regulatory teams to align software development with consumer health goals.
• Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements for consumer health software applications.
• Support career development through in-house learning programs and qualified tuition reimbursement for team members.
• Represent Dexcom as a leader in the consumer health technology space, contributing to the company’s ambition to become a global leader beyond diabetes management.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
• 17+ years of industry experience
• 13+ years of successful management experience in relevant industry
• Extensive experience leading large-scale software engineering organizations delivering consumer software products
• Deep expertise in mobile applications, cloud-native architectures, APIs, digital ecosystems, and modern software delivery practices
• Demonstrated success delivering highly available, high-quality software to large user populations
