  • • WEX Inc. is seeking a visionary and strategic Sr. Director of Product Management to spearhead the Growth and Engagement Products division. This pivotal role is instrumental in shaping the future of WEX's customer experience by defining and executing a comprehensive platform vision, strategy, and roadmap. The Growth and Engagement Platform will serve as the bedrock for user acquisition, adoption, and retention across the entire enterprise, encompassing essential services, APIs, and tools such as website infrastructure, content management systems, marketing automation, and advanced AI/ML capabilities.
  • • As a strategic executive product leader, you will operate with a "Think Big" mindset, driving innovation and strategic convergence to identify opportunities that will leapfrog the market and align with WEX's overarching corporate strategy. Your primary focus will be on reimagining end-to-end customer experiences and developing durable, long-term strategies for the Growth and Engagement Platform. This involves defining the internal and external services, APIs, and components necessary to construct a world-class platform, with a significant emphasis on leveraging AI/ML models for hyper-personalization, advanced segmentation, and predictive analytics.
  • • A key aspect of this role is fostering an environment that encourages an experimental mindset and champions data-driven decision-making. You will be responsible for creating and nurturing a culture where teams feel empowered to test new ideas, analyze results, and iterate based on insights. This data-centric approach will be crucial for managing the product portfolio, assessing risks, tracking dependencies, and making critical trade-off decisions.
  • • Collaboration and influence are paramount. You will build strong executive alignment by serving as a trusted strategic partner to your peers and coordinating closely with key product teams across the organization to ensure a unified platform vision. A significant part of your responsibility will be to evangelize the platform's capabilities, particularly its AI/ML services, to drive widespread adoption across all business units. This includes coaching your team members to effectively coordinate and leverage shared capabilities.
  • • You will be expected to manage the product portfolio holistically, utilizing a comprehensive view of metrics to guide strategic direction, identify potential risks, monitor project dependencies, and make informed trade-off decisions. Developing and nurturing a culture of data-driven decision-making across your teams is essential. You will role-model the effective use of data and sound judgment to navigate ambiguity and make critical prioritization choices.
  • • Talent stewardship is a core responsibility. You will build and manage a holistic talent strategy for the future, ensuring that the product organization possesses the right competencies to successfully deliver on the long-term Product Vision and Strategy. This includes identifying skill gaps, fostering professional development, and attracting top product talent.
  • • Cultivating psychological safety within your teams is foundational. You will advocate for and build an environment where team members feel empowered to assess and flag product risks without fear of retribution, fostering open communication and trust.
  • • You will partner with peer leaders to define and resource the appropriate team topology and interaction models, aiming to minimize friction and silos, thereby optimizing team efficiency and collaboration.
  • • A strong executive presence is required to effectively manage relationships up to the VP level and establish consistent, productive partnerships with senior leaders across all enterprise organizations. Your ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to senior stakeholders will be critical.
  • • You will act as a champion of WEX's culture, establishing the organization as a magnet for product talent by championing the Product Operating Model (POM) and its associated culture both internally and externally. This involves promoting best practices, fostering a collaborative environment, and representing WEX as a leader in product management.
