- • As a Sr. Director of Sales and Client Success within FICO's Scores division, you will be instrumental in driving business impact across the mortgage industry. This pivotal role involves partnering directly with mortgage lenders to enhance their growth strategies and improve customer service, leveraging FICO's world-renowned FICO® Score, which underpins over 10 billion decisions annually. You will act as the primary relationship manager and a trusted advisor to Chief Risk Officers and senior risk executives at leading mortgage lenders, servicers, and investors, including Government-Sponsored Enterprises (GSEs) and non-agency entities. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding clients through complex mortgage-specific regulatory compliance, including areas such as Qualified Mortgage (QM)/Ability-to-Repay (ATR), Truth in Lending Act (TRID), Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), and critical GSE credit risk transfer requirements. By collaborating closely with mortgage underwriting teams, you will optimize loan decisioning processes and significantly improve portfolio performance through the strategic application of FICO's advanced mortgage scoring solutions. Furthermore, you will work hand-in-hand with mortgage compliance officers to ensure that FICO's solutions not only meet but exceed stringent fair lending, Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), and essential mortgage-specific consumer protection mandates, thereby safeguarding clients and reinforcing FICO's commitment to responsible lending practices.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass developing compelling, mortgage risk-focused business cases that clearly demonstrate return on investment (ROI). This will be achieved by quantifying the benefits of FICO solutions, such as reducing buyback risk, enhancing overall loan quality, and ensuring robust regulatory compliance. You will also serve as a key thought leader, providing critical insights on emerging mortgage risk trends, anticipating and analyzing regulatory changes, and staying ahead of GSE guideline updates. This thought leadership will be shared through active participation in industry forums and the publication of relevant content. A significant aspect of your role will involve supporting mortgage model risk management, which includes the validation of credit scoring models, forecasting potential losses, and ensuring comprehensive regulatory model documentation is maintained. You will act as a central point of contact for internal teams, adeptly addressing mortgage-specific regulatory inquiries, assisting with GSE audits, and preparing clients for examination requirements. A core function will be to meticulously analyze each client's unique mortgage risk appetite and then strategically recommend FICO solutions that precisely align with agency guidelines, investor requirements, and their defined risk tolerance levels. You will continuously monitor changes in GSE credit score requirements, pricing adjustments, and qualification criteria, proactively advising clients on the potential impacts to their portfolios and developing mitigation strategies. Finally, you will facilitate crucial knowledge transfer sessions on advanced mortgage analytics, covering essential topics like credit risk layering, strategies for early payment default prevention, and effective loss mitigation techniques, empowering clients with the insights they need to navigate the complex mortgage landscape.
- • You will be joining FICO, a globally recognized leader in analytics software, empowering businesses in over 100 countries to make superior decisions. Our world-class team is dedicated to helping clients achieve their full career potential. The Scores division, where this role resides, is the home of the FICO® Score, the undisputed #1 credit score globally, which is integral to over 10 billion decisions each year. This role is part of a dynamic and client-focused team that is passionate about leveraging data and analytics to solve complex challenges within the mortgage industry. You will collaborate with a supportive and innovative group of professionals who are committed to delivering exceptional value to our clients and driving the future of risk management in lending.
- • In this role, you will have the unparalleled opportunity to make a significant and tangible impact on the mortgage industry by guiding major lenders and servicers in navigating complex risk and compliance landscapes. You will deepen your expertise in mortgage credit risk, regulatory compliance, and advanced analytics, becoming a recognized authority in the field. This position offers substantial professional development through exposure to cutting-edge FICO solutions and direct engagement with senior executives at client organizations. You will gain invaluable experience in strategic account management, consultative selling, and thought leadership within a high-growth sector. The role provides a platform to influence industry best practices and contribute to the evolution of responsible lending, all while developing your leadership capabilities within a globally respected organization.
