📋 Description
- • As a Senior Employee Relations Partner at Pacific Life Insurance Company, you will serve as a neutral party to investigate and resolve complex employee concerns, ensuring fair treatment and supporting business goals through proactive risk mitigation and cultural improvement.
- • Day to day, you will lead investigations into harassment, discrimination, and policy violations; mediate conflicts; coach leaders on performance management and policy interpretation; maintain confidential case records; analyze ER data for trends; and develop training programs using AI-enabled tools.
- • You will join the People Experience organization at Pacific Life, a purpose-driven company committed to innovation, inclusion, and employee wellbeing, with the opportunity to work hybrid or remote while contributing to U.S.-focused ER strategy and gaining international exposure.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in employment law, investigative best practices, and strategic HR partnership, while developing leadership coaching skills and influencing organizational culture through data-informed initiatives and scalable ER solutions.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Industrial Relations, or related field; master’s degree or Juris Doctor preferred
- • Ten years of progressive employee relations experience conducting workplace investigations and handling complex cases
- • In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws (e.g., ADA, FMLA, EEOC)
- • Proven ability to analyze information, navigate ambiguity, and make objective, strategic decisions
- • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to influence without authority and maintain confidentiality
- • Proficiency with HRIS, electronic case management systems (e.g., Navex – Ethics Point), and Microsoft Office Suite
