  • • As a Senior Enterprise Account Executive, your mission is to identify and engage with key enterprise organizations, understanding their unique challenges and demonstrating how Neo4j's graph technology can unlock unprecedented value.
  • • You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive territory plan, meticulously identifying target accounts and relevant use cases to build a robust sales pipeline that consistently meets and exceeds quarterly and annual sales objectives.
  • • Deep product expertise is crucial. You will become a true authority on Neo4j's product offerings and industry-specific solutions, adept at delivering compelling demonstrations, persuasive presentations, and tailored proposals that clearly articulate the tangible business value and competitive advantages of our platform.
  • • Leverage your profound understanding of the market landscape to position Neo4j's solutions as the definitive choice for customer needs, effectively highlighting the superiority over competing technologies and conventional data management approaches.
  • • You will lead and manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with a sophisticated, solution-based approach. This involves employing strategic selling methodologies and tactics, including the highly effective 'Land & Expand' model, to not only secure new logos but also to cultivate and grow existing accounts into significant revenue streams.
  • • Your role encompasses the entire sales process, from proactive prospecting and lead generation to skillful negotiation and closing deals. You will be expected to consistently secure new logos while simultaneously expanding Neo4j's footprint within existing enterprise accounts.
  • • A key aspect of this role involves providing strategic guidance and mentorship to Business Development Representatives (BDRs) and Field Marketing resources. You will collaborate closely with these teams to align on target accounts, refine outreach strategies, and effectively support pipeline development initiatives.
  • • Maintaining meticulous and up-to-date records within our CRM system is paramount. Accurate data integrity and adherence to forecasting guidelines are essential for effective territory management and company-wide planning.
  • • Cultivate and nurture strong, strategic partnerships with major public cloud providers, including AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure. Leveraging these relationships will be critical to identifying and capitalizing on new growth opportunities.
  • • This is a remote position, requiring you to be based within the Central Time Zone, with a strong preference for candidates located in the Greater Chicago area, offering flexibility while ensuring strong regional presence.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 10+ years of proven success in enterprise software sales, with a consistent track record of exceeding quotas and targets.
  • • Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-stage sales processes within enterprise markets, particularly in areas like Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Data Science, AI/ML, or related data-intensive fields.
  • • Proven ability to independently develop and close new client relationships while effectively managing and growing long-term business engagements.
  • • Deep understanding of commercial open-source business models, including experience selling both on-premise and cloud & SaaS hybrid solutions.
  • • Ability to craft and execute strategic sales plans tailored to specific industries, leveraging knowledge of partner ecosystems and Go-to-Market strategies.
  • • Strong presentation, communication, and organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and influence key stakeholders.
  • • Familiarity with established sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger Sales) and experience thriving in a fast-paced, competitive market environment.
  • • Experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, including Pre-Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Field Engineering resources, to ensure customer success.
  • • Proven ability to build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, including CTOs, IT leaders, and technical end-users, while collaborating with Solution Architects, Professional Services, and Channel Partners.
  • • Based in the Central Time Zone, with a preference for the Greater Chicago area.
