📋 Description
- • Serve as a Senior Epic Application Analyst specializing in Epic Willow Ambulatory to support ambulatory pharmacy operations across retail, specialty, and home health environments.
- • Analyze, design, configure, implement, optimize, and provide ongoing support for Epic Willow Ambulatory applications and related technologies.
- • Translate pharmacy user and department needs into technical solutions that enhance workflow efficiency and service levels.
- • Perform intermediate to advanced analysis, design, building, testing, and implementation of Epic applications and integrated systems.
- • Support Epic system upgrades, maintenance, medication loads, pricing updates, and insurance updates specific to ambulatory pharmacy workflows.
- • Collaborate with pharmacy staff, operational leaders, and technical teams to resolve complex application issues and improve system integration.
- • Contribute to the planning, prioritization, and execution of projects according to established schedules and timeframes.
- • Document and report on project plans, priorities, and schedules; regularly update ISD Manager on project status.
- • Provide ongoing technical support to end users, including after-hours support through a rotating on-call schedule.
- • Act as a technical resource and subject matter expert for Epic Willow Ambulatory, assisting junior analysts and serving as a mentor.
- • Participate in the preparation and delivery of training sessions for pharmacy staff and other users on Epic system functionality.
- • Advocate for and enforce technical development, application support, and information management standards within the Information Systems Department.
- • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Epic application support tools, methodologies, and healthcare information systems.
- • Ensure compliance with Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards related to patient safety, supply management, productivity, and quality of service.
- • Promote professional growth by meeting mandatory/continuing education requirements and supporting departmental goals.
- • Model Memorial Hermann’s service standards by delivering safe, compassionate, personalized, and efficient experiences to patients and colleagues.
- • Perform other duties as assigned to support the operational efficiency of ambulatory pharmacy technology systems.
