- • This pivotal role involves performing comprehensive preventative maintenance, crucial start-ups, and complex repairs on a range of generators, including sophisticated automatic transfer switches, and both diesel and gaseous engines.
- • You will be instrumental in promoting a culture of safety and efficiency in all your duties, adhering to the highest industry standards and company protocols.
- • A significant aspect of this position is leading on-site work, where you will be responsible for managing project timelines, prioritizing tasks effectively, and ensuring seamless execution of service calls.
- • You will gain hands-on experience operating Kinetic Power Pack (KPP) systems, including high-voltage electric plants ranging from 480v to 13,800v, requiring a deep understanding of their intricate mechanical and electronic components.
- • This role demands a commitment to providing exceptional customer support, including being on call 24/7 to respond to site alarms and failures, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuous operation.
- • You will actively assist with the commissioning of KPP systems, ensuring they are installed and functioning according to specifications before handover.

- • Sourcing and coordinating with local vendors for third-party activities and specialized assistance will be part of your responsibilities, requiring strong local network building skills.
- • Providing essential operating assistance and technical guidance to customers will be key to fostering strong client relationships and ensuring their satisfaction.
- • You will also serve as a technical resource for other service personnel, sharing your expertise and assisting colleagues when needed.
- • Travel is an integral part of this role, and you will be expected to travel domestically and internationally (5-10%) on short notice to assist other site technicians when required, demonstrating flexibility and a team-oriented approach.
