- • The Sr. Financial Analyst at Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT), a Danaher Corporation operating company, plays a critical role in driving data-informed decision-making across commercial finance functions by developing financial models, analyzing performance trends, and delivering actionable insights that support strategic business initiatives in the life sciences, diagnostics, and biotechnology sectors.
- • This fully remote position reports to the Sr FP&A Manager - Commercial Finance and is part of the FP&A Department, contributing to IDT’s mission of accelerating genomics breakthroughs by ensuring financial rigor, forecast accuracy, and operational alignment across global teams.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and enhancing financial models to evaluate business performance and future outcomes, preparing recurring financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for management.
- • Analyzing financial results to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights that inform operational and strategic decisions.
- • Identifying and implementing process improvements in forecasting, reporting, and analysis by leveraging BI platforms and analytic tools to automate workflows, enhance data integrity, and increase efficiency.
- • Consolidating data from multiple sources—including ERP systems and financial databases—to ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and timeliness across business units.
- • Serving as a trusted advisor to functional and business leaders, providing financial guidance and support for operational decisions, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- • Partnering with cross-functional teams in commercial operations, sales, marketing, and R&D to forecast results, prepare leadership reports, and identify levers to improve financial performance.
- • Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement rooted in the Danaher Business System (DBS), where financial analysis supports innovation, scientific excellence, and tangible impact in healthcare and genomics.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business with 5+ years of relevant experience, OR a Master’s degree in a related field with 3+ years of experience
- • Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Excel for financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting
- • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and communicate insights to non-financial stakeholders
- • Advanced knowledge of BI software and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to build dashboards, automate reporting, and improve data integrity
- • Experience in forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis within a corporate or commercial finance environment, preferably in life sciences, healthcare, or technology industries
