The Sr. Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A role is critical to ensuring accurate financial reporting and strategic decision-making for the Products North America division, directly supporting the VP of FP&A and enabling data-driven leadership across finance, marketing, sales, and operations.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include leading the timely aggregation and validation of month-end financial reporting for the Products North American division, maintaining the financial close calendar, and ensuring accuracy in financial statements presented to executive leadership. The role involves close collaboration with Corporate FP&A, Accounting, Marketing, Sales/Commercial, and Operations teams during weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecast cycles, as well as the annual budget process.
- • The analyst supports category business owners by providing cross-functional financial insights on operational expenses, including headcount management, project tracking, and variance analysis, while routinely communicating historical and forecasted financial performance, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders.
- • Working closely with the accounting team, the Sr. Financial Analyst ensures all aspects of the financial close process are orderly and contributes to the integrity of financial results reported in company statements, while championing a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and effective communication.
- • This role offers the opportunity to develop deep expertise in corporate financial planning and analysis within a large, complex healthcare organization, gain exposure to Hyperion Planning and Essbase systems, and build strategic influence as a trusted advisor to senior leaders shaping the financial performance of a major business unit.
🎯 Requirements
- • Four-year undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field; MBA highly preferred
- • 3-5 years of FP&A experience, including experience in consolidations and operational expense management
- • Proven experience with Hyperion Planning & Essbase financial systems and expert proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial audiences
- • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks, work independently, and thrive in a collaborative team environment
- • Healthcare distribution or manufacturing experience is desirable; ability to travel up to 10% of the time
