- • Senior Full-Stack Engineer with a backend and data focus who will architect and maintain scalable systems powering Homera Health’s telemedicine platform, ensuring reliable data flow from ingestion to user-facing features.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and implementing RESTful/GraphQL APIs with Node.js and Express, owning data pipelines (ETL, storage, reliability), optimizing database schemas and queries across PostgreSQL and NoSQL stores, managing AWS infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, contributing to system design for scalability, reviewing frontend React code when needed, conducting code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and improving monitoring and logging.
- • Homera Health is a fast-growing D2C telemedicine company building virtual healthcare experiences, operating with a remote-first culture and a global team focused on innovation in health tech.
- • In this role, you will gain deep ownership of mission-critical backend systems, influence technical direction as a senior engineer, strengthen expertise in data infrastructure and cloud architecture, and grow leadership skills through mentoring and cross-functional collaboration with product, growth, and operations teams.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of professional backend engineering experience with ownership of production systems
- • Deep experience with Node.js (primary) or Python for backend services and API development
- • Strong expertise in SQL and relational databases, with Postgres strongly preferred
- • Hands-on experience building or owning data pipelines and ETL workflows in production
- • Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, etc.)
- • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
- • Comfort with React at a working level—able to read, review, and contribute to frontend code
- • Strong communication and ownership mindset
