📋 Description
- • As a Senior Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer specializing in CyberArk, you will be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and managing robust identity governance solutions for our diverse client base. This fully remote role, open to candidates across the continental U.S., places you in a critical position to collaborate closely with clients, our Security Operations Center (SOC) team, and various business units to ensure the seamless integration and lifecycle management of user identities and access privileges across complex environments.
- • Your primary responsibility will involve conducting thorough assessments of client production environments. This includes identifying operational risks, pinpointing process gaps, and subsequently architecting and implementing a scalable, business-aligned Privileged Access Management (PAM) and identity framework. The goal is to significantly strengthen security controls, reduce operational friction, and foster long-term operational resilience.
- • You will engage directly with business and technology leaders to champion and drive PAM and identity initiatives. This collaborative approach ensures that these initiatives directly support production operations, making access processes efficient, sustainable, and perfectly aligned with the organization’s established operating model.
- • A key aspect of your role will be to evaluate existing identity and privileged-access operating models. This encompasses a deep dive into access request flows, lifecycle processes, role structures, separation of duties policies, and certification cycles. Your analysis will identify opportunities to enhance, streamline, or mature the client’s production operations from a security and efficiency standpoint.
- • You will be tasked with designing and evolving privileged access and identity solutions. These solutions must not only meet stringent security requirements but also integrate effortlessly into the client’s daily operational workflow. The outcome will be actionable architectures and frameworks that elevate production reliability and accountability.
- • A significant part of your contribution will be building automated, self-service, and resilient privileged access and identity capabilities. This focus on automation aims to reduce manual workloads, enhance operational consistency, and minimize disruptions across production environments.
- • You will implement necessary customizations to address specific customer business requirements, ensuring that the deployed solutions are tailored to unique operational needs.
- • This role requires active participation in security and application troubleshooting, as well as incident problem resolution, working in tandem with other infrastructure teams such as storage, messaging, server, and network specialists.
- • Collaboration is paramount. You will work closely with a wide array of stakeholders, including IT teams, security teams, and business units, to ensure the effective and efficient implementation of identity and access management solutions.
- • You will provide essential engineering support for complex and recurring incidents related to IAM platforms. This includes performing thorough root cause analysis in strict accordance with customer policies and standards.
- • You will be responsible for upholding the standards, design integrity, and operational excellence of environments utilizing SailPoint, BeyondTrust, CyberArk, and related technologies.
- • Leveraging your deep expertise across Entra ID, Microsoft AD platforms, SailPoint, CyberArk, BeyondTrust, and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), you will integrate identity and privileged-access capabilities in a manner that robustly supports stable production operations and ensures business continuity.
- • This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge IAM technologies and contribute significantly to the security posture and operational efficiency of Optiv's clients.
