- • As a Senior Implementation Consultant on the Professional Services team, you will drive the digital transformation of healthcare by implementing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems across ambulatory clinics and healthcare institutions in Manitoba, ensuring seamless transitions from paper-based to fully electronic platforms.
- • You will implement the full suite of Altera software solutions, with a primary focus on Sunrise EMR Core and Ambulatory functionalities, including related products such as DBmotion, CPM, Opal, and Patient Portal, while performing complex system configuration and providing technical guidance to clients.
- • You will deliver expert workflow consulting by translating existing paper-based clinic workflows—such as registration, scheduling, and clinical documentation—into optimized electronic formats, and proactively identify, resolve, or escalate system and workflow issues throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- • You will collaborate with project managers, solution architects, clinical consultants, and CMIOs, manage stakeholder expectations from end-users to executive leadership, and act as a client advocate to ensure successful project delivery and high utilization rates.
- • This role is central to Altera Digital Health’s mission of elevating care delivery through innovation and expertise, supporting healthier communities globally by enabling clinics to adopt advanced health IT solutions.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
- • 2+ years of hands-on healthcare IT implementation and configuration experience
- • Strong functional knowledge of an EMR/EHR system, with specific expertise in Altera Sunrise EMR (Core or Ambulatory) preferred
- • Experience with Epic or Meditech is valued if combined with deep knowledge of essential clinic workflows (registration, scheduling, clinical documentation)
- • Proven experience working as part of a formal implementation project team that has successfully rolled out EMR systems
- • Clinical background preferred (SME who has rolled out clinics)
- • Technical background in SQL or SSRS reporting preferred
- • Proven client presentation experience with strong written and oral communication skills for diverse stakeholders
- • Project management experience, skilled at managing multiple priorities during long-term (e.g., 12-month) implementation cycles
- • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new information and adapt to evolving project needs

- • Competitive salary range: CA $75,000 – CA $90,000
