  • • As a Sr. Implementation Consultant at Sphera, you will be a pivotal expert within our customer-focused digital services team, specializing in Environmental Accounting and Compliance Assurance solutions.
  • • Your primary role will be to technically lead enterprise-level implementation projects, ensuring successful deployment of Sphera’s suite of ESG and environmental compliance applications.
  • • You will engage deeply with clients to understand their unique requirements and strategic goals, translating these into effective implementation designs and blueprints.
  • • This involves guiding clients through the entire project lifecycle, from initial design and configuration to rigorous testing, comprehensive training, and final deployment.
  • • You will act as a central point of communication, fostering collaboration among all project team members and ensuring seamless project execution.
  • • A significant portion of your role (70%) will be dedicated to Solution Consulting, where you will leverage your subject matter expertise to facilitate solution design workshops.
  • • You will provide clients with invaluable product insights and guide them using best practice methodologies, ensuring they derive maximum value from Sphera’s offerings.
  • • Developing detailed solution design documents and performing thorough requirements analysis will be key responsibilities, ensuring that the implemented solutions precisely meet client needs.
  • • You will perform hands-on implementation work, including system configuration, testing, training delivery, and deployment activities as required.
  • • A crucial aspect of this role is mentoring and coaching client project teams throughout the project lifecycle, empowering them to effectively utilize and manage the implemented solutions.
  • • You will collaborate closely with the Sphera product team to provide feedback, address project-related product enhancements, and resolve any arising issues, contributing to the continuous improvement of our software.
  • • You will be responsible for updating standard project templates to align with specific project requirements, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
  • • For smaller to mid-sized projects, you will also take on Project Management responsibilities (20% of the role), overseeing all aspects of project delivery.
  • • This includes planning, task analysis, resource allocation, progress tracking, and ensuring the timeliness and quality of all client deliverables.
  • • You will manage project budgets, identify and mitigate project risks, and lead deployment activities, including readiness audits and lessons learned discussions.
  • • Creating and executing project work plans, revising them as needed to accommodate changing requirements, will be essential.
  • • You will develop comprehensive project planning documents using established project management techniques, such as project charters, scope statements, testing plans, and detailed project schedules.
  • • Identifying necessary resources and assigning individual responsibilities will ensure efficient team performance.
  • • You will manage the day-to-day operational aspects of projects, ensuring scope is adhered to and deliverables are met.
  • • Reviewing deliverables prepared by the project team before client submission will maintain high-quality standards.
  • • You will effectively apply Sphera’s implementation methodology and enforce project standards, ensuring consistency and best practices.
  • • Preparing for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures will be part of your responsibilities, minimizing risk and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • • You will be responsible for ensuring project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately, maintaining an organized project repository.
  • • Providing regular project status reports and key metrics will keep stakeholders informed of progress and performance.
  • • A smaller portion of your role (10%) may involve Project Accounting, including tracking and reporting team hours and expenses, managing project budgets, and ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
  • • You will analyze project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates, and utilization to ensure financial success of projects.
